Sirens have beautiful appearances, and even lovelier voices. They were meant to lure you in by singing about whatever desire you had. You would be put in a trance before your life was taken.

She knew the life of a singer was hers: she just needed the encouragement and the vocal coaches to guide her.

Lacrimosa Ambrose: singing sensation from Boston, Massachusetts, rising to take her crown as the Queen of Jazz. She decided all on her own that she wanted to establish her own jazz lounge. With enough money, she rented out—and eventually bought—her own lounge. It took some sprucing up, but when it was complete, she couldn't have been prouder. The sole purpose for her was to perform, and she was going to be good at it. Her sultry voice drove many people insane, and in the best way possible. You would assume someone so wealthy, so seemingly content, came from a loving family, and had one of her own?

It was true, she had loving parents, a nice house, hell, she was rather rich when she was a kid. So it was natural for her to know the way of wealth. Her mother was a cancan dancer from France, and her father was a journalist from Latin America. They had visited each other on occasion, whether it be after her mother's shows, or in a café where her father focused on certain topics.

In fact, Lacrimosa was the youngest in her family, amidst her oldest sisters—twins—and her older brother. Camilia and Claudia were inseparable, but one was sweeter than sugar while the other was meaner than a devil. Edgar was quite gentle, and rather silent. He only spoke when needed to, but was at the top of his high school class. He'd be the one to help with mathematics in the household, and was the second man of the house if their father was on the job.

Lacrimosa clung to her mother when she was little, and was quite the talkative one. She cried continuously the minute after she was born, with no seeming stop to the tears. Her father suggested the name Lacrimosa, as a tribute to the weeping and tears. Nonetheless it was a beautiful name for a beautiful, healthy baby girl.

As she grew, she didn't have thick skin. She was a very sensitive child, and would often be made fun of. Her tears only made those bullies of her laugh harder, calling her a crybaby. She was much different from other children, being unable to sit still. That would often cause yelling spells from her teachers or vocal coaches. The more she was yelled at, the less she would cry. She managed to develop thicker skin, and buried all frustration deep within her.

Her passion was singing, which would later be obvious and prominent. Piano playing and guitar playing would become a routine for her to learn, and it was a way she could express herself. It was so freeing, so...liberating. And so, her passion grew on. She would perform in local places, or anywhere, really. She wanted the attention, the appraisal...and she got it.

Looking back now, she wondered how it took her so long to make her tougher, and not to mention she was beyond baffled to not figure out that she was definitely not a normal child. Her hyperness and talkative behavior was a later indicator that she had ADHD: it was after a doctor's visit in around 1906 where she was diagnosed. Shame and doubt ate at her the first couple of days, but she did not want it to affect how she would do things. Despite certain tasks being difficult for her to manage alone, she was doing much better than when she was younger.

This didn't make her strive less: she continued with a chip on her shoulder now, after she was told cruel, cruel things by teachers and students when she was younger. She learned how to be manipulative whenever she pleased, and it was one of her greatest achievements. Her first manipulated—and slaughtered—victim was when she was nineteen, a foolish predator. He was getting too friendly with her, and she decided to...persuade him in ways one would deem unholy. Finally, when he was not noticing her intentions, she pulled out a knife and twisted it deep into his gut. The blood stains got all over her, but the plus side was that she wore gloves, making it harder to trace the evidence. Aside from being a good singer, she was a good actor.
