"The bazaar will be so much fun!" Otoya cheered, grinning from ear to ear.

Tokiya sighed, as he already had an earful of this during their walk back to their campus.

"The kids will have a blast, the daycare will be saved, the person from Saotome Academy will come... Hopefully Akahana visits too!"

Despite not listening to him before, Tokiya's interests piqued at the name. "Akahana?"

The redhead flinched. "Oh, uh..."

"What's this? Is Otoya talking about a girl~?" cooed Ren from ahead, sending him a suggestive smile.

Otoya flushed slightly. "She's not-"

"Oh, the girl with the notebook." Tokiya nodded, already knowing who it was with his reaction.

"Yes, but-"

"Oh, that girl you were telling us about," Natsuki stated, recalling the day before.

"Didn't he give her back the notebook though?" Syo spoke up.

Tokiya bobbed his head. "I thought it was finally over with that but..."

Soon, everyone's eyes were on Otoya, their eyebrows raised.

"Do you mind telling us what happened?" Ren smirked. "I'd like to know what happened in full detail."

"Me too," Masato agreed.

Haruka nodded. "I'd like to know what you guys are talking about as well."

"Same here!" Cecil chimed in.

As everyone kept pestering the teen for an answer, Otoya tried his best to avoid their gazes. Though, once his eyes fell upon a familiar auburn haired girl in the distance, his eyes widened. He lost focus in what was happening around him, his eyes glued on the expression he's never seen her wear before: a smile.

Akahana was smiling?

"Otoya-kun?" Natsuki questioned as they all noticed his vague reaction.

"I-I'll meet you guys there! Go on without me!" Otoya broke away from them all and found himself racing towards the park where she was seated.

Once he made it to the park, Otoya sucked in his breath when he saw her, sitting on the bench, jotting down notes into the notebook where he saw her tunes, a small smile upturning the corners of her lips.

Otoya's ruby eyes were as wide as saucers as he heard her hum the most amazing melody as well.

It was breathtaking.

"Akahana..."

Immediately, Mae froze. Her previous expression was coated in faint fear as she lifted up her head. Her mouth was dropped open, her eyes widened on a similar scale. "Ittoki...kun..."

Otoya subconsciously stepped forward, even though his thoughts weren't making any sense.

Mae dropped her notebook, her expression petrified. She had seen that expression before. No... What did she do?!

Just as Otoya opened his mouth, Mae covered her ears, not wanting to hear it at all. Her breathing spiked, her heart thumping loudly in her ears.

"Oh my God! Look, Miss. Music here thinks she could write songs! I think daddy's little girl is dreaming too big."

"This is shit. Just like yo-"

"That was amazing!"

Huh...? Mae lifted her head, only to see how bright his face had gotten.

"I-I mean, you really are amazing, Akahana! That tune was extremely good!" Otoya cried, his face glistening with wonderment.

Mae was shocked. She had never experienced this response before. Never. Never had she ever met someone like him.

"Were you composing?" Otoya had arrived right in front of her. His ruby red eyes reflected his excitement and his smile had made Mae's heart skip a beat.

"U-uh...yeah..." she replied as Otoya picked up the notebook from the ground reading it over.

His face lit up again. "Wow, this is good enough to be produced!"

"E-eh..." Mae's face was beet red, not being able to withstand all the compliments.

Otoya let out a boisterous laugh, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, I tend to get carried away a lot. But...I really meant it."

His grin had her in an enchantment that had her head reeling.

"Your music is really good!"

^v^

Shortest chapter yet I believe, but 'ey, we all know Otoya's smile is far too dangerous for our health hah xD

He's slowly breaking down the walls...

And yeah, I wanted to clarify that Haruka, and all of them, are nothing more than good friends. They all don't like her in this story... She's just a FRIEND.

You know... a person with whom has a bond.

Ah what a load off my shoulders ;v; If only Haruka could've actually picked somebody in the anime, maybe then I wouldn't have to be so against it so much -__-"
