Chapter Seven: Meeting His Friends

C H A P T E R 7 :

☆ Dormitory ☆ Tokiya & Otoya's Room ☆

"Guys we're going to the amusement park tomorrow!"

Everyone within the dormitory room looked away from the T.V screen, directing their attention towards the cheerful redhead who had burst into the room.

"Aren't we already doing that? We have the tickets." Syo raised an eyebrow at Otoya questioningly.

"I-I know that," Otoya said, holding up fists as he looked at all six of them. "But can Akahana come with us?"

"What's bringing this on all of a sudden?" Tokiya asked once he heard her name, though he already had a feeling of the answer.

Otoya smiled. "Oh, it'd be funner with more people, right?"

"Wait, Akahana? Are you possibly talking about that girl?" Ren spoke up, recalling their previous conversation.

Otoya nodded his head.

Cecil tilted his head curiously. "Hmm, why do you want to so much?"

The redhead flinched. "Oh...um..."

Everyone patiently waited for his response and Otoya scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "At first she may seem unapproachable, but I only think it's because she finds it hard to express herself. That's why I want her to enjoy herself more! So I invited her to come with us." Otoya held out his hands with a big smile. "We even have that extra ticket! So, do you all think it's okay if she comes?"

Everyone in the room was startled by Otoya's declaration. It was unexpected, but then again, this was the type of person Otoya was.

"Uwah, I want to meet her~!" Natsuki cooed, wearing a matching smile. "I bet she's really cute!"

"Is being cute all you care about?" frowned Syo.

"They do say the more the merrier," Masato stated. Everyone else reluctantly shrugged their shoulders, agreeing with the setup and Otoya's smile broadened.

"I'll go tell Nanami!"

The redhead dashed out of the room which invoked a sigh from Tokiya.

"He's too excited."

"It's not that bad." Grinned Ren. "And besides, I can't wait to meet this girl who can get him in such high spirits like that."

Everyone silently agreed with the caramel blond. They were curious to see who exactly this mysterious girl was too.

☆ Mae's House ☆ Following Afternoon ☆

"Where are you going?" Mae halted at the doorway.

She felt the looming stare of her father above her, making her hate on herself for not leaving sooner.

He arched an eyebrow. "Usually you don't go anywhere on Sunday."

"I'm...going out... to the amusement park," Mae began, not daring to face him, "with a few people."

Akahana Hajime's jaw dropped in utmost shock and Mae scurried out the door. She knew she'd be hearing an earful the minute she returned, but at the moment, that was the least of her worries.

The butterflies in her stomach made it hard to her to even breath. She had never gone to the amusement park with anybody other than her family in her entire life. And with people she hardly knew too... That was technically dangerous, and yet she was still following through with it.
