Chapter three: Old & New Friends

Holly's POV:

"That's terrific..." I held back a growl, talking into my house phone.

After training today, Savanna and I went our separate ways; to our own homes. I was now cleaning my small apartment, currently dusting the shelves and talking to a friend I hadn't heard from in a while.

"Holly..." She sighed dreamily from the other line, "You don't understand, I think I'm in love with him..."

I bit back another growl, losing my patience quickly. She had been going on and on about some guy. Was I jealous? Nah, y'know... Just left the guy that I extremely liked in another dimension... Okay, maybe I am jealous... Just a tad...

"Wonderful, I hope you both get married and have ten little babies!" I exclaimed a little too cheerfully.

"Whoa... What's got your panties in a bunch?" She questioned, giggling on the other line, "Are you having guy trouble?"

"No," I sighed, flopping onto my bed, "Not at all, considering I don't like anyone here..."

"Right... Look, I have to go- you coming to that party tonight?" She questioned, excitement rising in her voice.

"Nope, got to study for that test..." I lied quickly, not liking the idea of getting high and drunk.

"Alright, but here's some advice... Lighten up!" She shouted playfully, hanging the phone up before I could retort.

"If only you knew..." I snarled, tossing the small device across the room.

I rolled onto my stomach, covering my head with a pillow. I miss the both of you... My heart twisted in pure grief. I missed my brother dearly, and I missed Stephano with all my heart; though we never firmly confirmed our feelings towards the other.

"Holly!" Savanna's voice was heard, followed by a knocking at my door.

I hopped to my feet and rushed over to the door, thinking it's an emergency, I swung the door open; revealing Savanna and...

"No... No... Y-You're dead..." I stared at my healthy looking brother with wide eyes.

Before I could say another word, he tackled me into a tight hug; nearly crushing all my bones.

"Chastity brought me back..." Daniel said, hugging me tightly before letting go.

Just then, pained filled screams rang in my ear; Chastity's screams as she was crushed under the rock that was meant for me. I shook my head, ridding of the screams. Daniel narrowed his eyes as he stared outside the door.

"Close the door and lock it..." He instructed Savanna as he closed the curtains to my windows.

Daniel's behavior was scaring me slightly.

We all sat on my bed, staring at each other, until Daniel spoke up.

"A great darkness is coming... I've seen it with my own eyes..." Just then, his brown eyes darkened with memories, "There will be war... Akita is growing stronger and stronger as each day passes..."

"I stopped Robby from attacking an innocent person today..." I admitted, urging my brother to continue.

"Akita is testing his limits, soon to break what boundaries you have set... Chastity has sent me to help fight along your side... But not as a Wolf..." A smirk appeared on Daniel's lips.

I watched as he raised a hand and pointed it towards my door; a blue substance appeared quickly, looking like a liquid form, yet it took a solid form. The blue light reminded me of chakra, from the show Naruto. The blue light formed three massive claws on Daniel's knuckles; you could slightly see through the blue light.
