I got changed into my avocado top and shirt and covered myself up with my long coat.
He took me to his place. It wasn't the first time I walked in his apartment, but last time, I was here as his fake girlfriend.
Tonight, I walked in his apartment as his real girlfriend. Girlfriend? Friend?
I didn't know what we were exactly but it didn't matter. I was excited to spend time alone with him.
"So I bought cosy blankets, popcorn, sweets and soft drinks" Charles said with a big smile on his face. He was proud of it and he should be.
His place looked amazing.
He pushed his couches together, making it look like a big bed, with lots of pillows and blankets.
"Everything you can't drink or eat because of your diet" I nudged him with a smile. "More for me though"
"I will make an exception for tonight, I can have one cheat day" he grabbed my hand, pulled me with him to the living room and sat down next to me.
"One last thing" he said as he got back up, he lighted the candles and sat down back next to me.
"What movie do you wanna watch?"
"Something scary?" I suggested. I wasn't the biggest fan of horror movies, but it gave me a chance to snuggle up to him.
"Sure, whatever you want" he also wasn't that big of a fan, I could see that from the look on his face, but he still put a horror movie on.
We were about halfway the movie and I was snuggled into his arms. When there was a scary scene, I put my face in his chest and he cuddled me a bit tighter.
I told you there are perks to these horror movies.
Another perk was that almost everyone wanted to watch cartoons after it and so did he.
So he put them on after the movie.
We were laughing, cuddling, kissing and stuffing our faces with the snacks.
It was the best date I've ever had. It was so easy with Charles and he made me feel so comfortable.
We fell asleep on the couch, in each other arms.
I slept so amazing, until the doorbell rang us out a wonderful dream.
Charles just grumbled and pulled me closer, giving me a kiss on my shoulder. We both decided to ignore the doorbell.
But that wasn't possible, because it kept ringing.
"Oui, j'arrive" Charles grumbled, grabbed his shirt of the floor and walked to the door.
"Bonjour frère" Arthur said as he walked in with a bag in his hand. "Good morning Nova" he waved to me and walked to the kitchen.
There were no walls between the kitchen and the living room, so I was happy that I was still wearing my clothes.
Even though Charles clearly thought I wasn't wearing enough clothes to his liking because he walked out of the room for a quick second and came back with a shirt and jogging pants.
I got the hint and walked to the bathroom to get changed.
As I walked out, with Charles' clothes on and walked to the kitchen, they were both talking in French, but Charles immediately switched to English when he saw me walking in.
My heart skipped a beat, it was so cute. He didn't want me to feel left out.
"What are you doing here Arthur?" He asked. "You literally told me to get breakfast for you and Nova?" Arthur answered with a frown.
"Yes, I asked to leave it at the door" he rolled his eyes, pointing at the freshly made coffee and looked at me. I gave him a nod.
I desperately needed some coffee.
"Yeah that's not fair, I wanted to see my favorite sister in law" Arthur said and winked at me.
The Leclerc brothers definitely had some charm.
"Are you coming to the next race Nova? I am going and it would be fun if you came too" he asked, putting a croissant in front of me.
"If your brother wants me there then I'll definitely come" I chuckled, looking at Charles.
He put the cup of coffee in front of me and wrapped his arm around my waist. "I would love to have you there" he said as he kissed the side of my head.
"Then I'm definitely gonna support for the hottest guy in the paddock" I mumbled, pushing my body closer to him.
Even though I wasn't really sure who the hottest guy was. My mind definitely said Charles, but my heart...
was still beating for Lando.
