"Ms. Octavia, would you like me to drive you to school?"
"Yes, I would love that, George. I don't want to be late for my first day back."
---
The day had just started, and Octavia was already tired of the school smell. She covered her nose with a cloth. "I want to go home."
"Look who it is, the famous Octavia from the North."
Octavia recognized the voice immediately. "I can't believe you're not dead, Sammy," she smiled.
"Correction, you troll. It's Sam Crimson, the one who will become king of the East." Sam gently brushed his hair.
"I didn't ask for your name, Sammy," Octavia frowned.
"Still mad about me beating you and taking the Best Student Award?" Sam chuckled. "I remember your face when you found out you lost to me."
"Don't test me. Anyway, wouldn't you like to escort a young, beautiful girl like me inside?" Octavia smiled, playing with her hair.
"You know how the school looks like, so no, I'd rather not," Sam said as he walked away.

#### Class Time
"Hello, students. Welcome back to school. Our first lesson is how to speak like a royal."
"She doesn't even say 'sit down.' She just enters and starts speaking. She didn't even tell us her name," Octavia whispered.
"I know, and she wants to teach us how to speak English. Oh my goodness, that's amazing," Octavia mocked.
"Veronica, are you paying attention?" Octavia asked.
"Yes, I am, Octavia. Just wondering why my dress is so irritating."
"My name is Eve from the Southern region, and I'll be your English teacher. From now on, we shall use proper English, proper words, and more," Eve smiled.
"Why is she smiling? Does she think she's funny or something?" Veronica whispered.
"I don't know. Bet she thought we would say something. Anyway, what do you want to do at lunchtime?" Octavia asked.
"Excuse me, ladies. If you are unable to speak proper English, you shall stay here longer than everyone else. Isn't that right, October and Verona?"
"Who's October and Verona? Is she talking to us?" Veronica asked.
"I think so," Octavia replied.
"You know, only those who are not royalty behave in such a manner. Those of royalty should not behave like they came out of a village with animals," Eve spoke.
"Excuse me, are you saying those who aren't royal are animals?" Octavia questioned.
"Yes, I am. You would never see a person with class speak or behave in such a way," Eve said, annoyed.
"Treat people with respect. You can't say that about people you haven't even talked to. What gives you the right to say such things about them, you witch?" Octavia screamed.
The atmosphere was tense, the room silent, and the two women looked at one another with fury in their eyes.
"You know nothing, girl. Tell me this: this school is for the rich. This place was made for the rich. Do you believe a good-for-nothing person who's only good for stealing and cleaning will fit in this place? Octavia, since you believe in equality, tell the class, tell me, which is better:
A: We separate the rich and the poor for the better.
B: We let the poor come here and ruin the balance.Remember, Octavia, people will bully those you believe deserve equality. What then? Won't the bullying take a toll and cause the person to do things we never want to see?"
"But..." Octavia was speechless.
"Now, do yourself a favor, future queen of the North, change your ways. Now, class, you may sit."
