“What are we going to do, Father? Kimberly refuses to listen to reason, and now the West is searching for vengeance. What are we going to do?” Octavia’s voice trembled, her eyes filled with worry and desperation.

“Octavia, I really don’t know what to do in this situation,” the king sighed heavily, his face etched with lines of despair. “The other kingdoms won’t help us, and my thoughts are, who leaked this information?”

“What information? Are you telling me you might have thought Sasha killed the king?” Octavia shot back, her voice sharp with incredulity.

“No,” the king’s voice softened, filled with sorrow. “We had information he was poisoned, but we didn’t know who leaked the information.”

“Okay, I understand,” Octavia said, her voice wavering. “But that’s the least of our concerns. We need to find a way to help Sasha… Wait, I know what we should do.”

“False decapitation. We will have her falsely decapitated,” Octavia suggested, a desperate gleam in her eyes.

“You know, Octavia, one wrong move and your friend is gone,” the king said, his voice heavy with the weight of the decision.

“Yes, I do,” Octavia whispered, her voice breaking. “The safety will not be removed, and after that, Sasha will go into hiding until we find the culprit.”

“I’ll go check on Sasha, Father.”

---

“Henry, are you watching this unfold? I’m also eager to know how you died, my love. If you can hear me, please show me the way,” Octavia murmured to the empty room, her heart aching.

---

“Sasha, we have a way for you to not get killed, but you will have to trust me,” Octavia said, her eyes pleading.

“What should I do, Octavia?” Sasha desperately asked, tears streaming down her face.

“Today at noon, you will be decapitated, but the safety will be attached, so it will stop it from hurting you…”

“I trust you, Octavia,” Sasha said, her voice trembling but resolute. “I’ll do it. But won’t people see my head still attached to my body?”

“Don’t worry. I will handle that,” Octavia assured her, trying to keep her voice steady.

“I have to leave now, Sasha. Kimberly is coming, and if I can convince her not to do this, then we won’t have to do Plan A,” Octavia smirked, though her heart was heavy.

Sasha began to laugh through her tears. “Plan A, Octavia, you always find a way to make me laugh. Thank you.”

---

“The future queen of the West has arrived at the palace. I am proud to announce Queen Kimberly,” a herald proclaimed, his voice echoing through the halls.

“Okay, I’m here at this trash kingdom. All I want is to avenge my father. I’m not here for a dinner date,” Kimberly snapped, her eyes cold.

“Oh my, Kimberly, you’re still rude as ever. But anyway, how are you feeling?” Octavia asked, slowly walking down the stairs.

“I’m even more sad looking at your face, Octavia,” Kimberly shot back.

“Oh, nice to meet you too,” Octavia gave a forced smile.

“In two hours, they will prepare the execution. Don’t worry, that maid of mine will be gone,” Octavia said, her voice hollow.

“She better be. Just because she’s poor, she thinks she can do that and get away with it,” Kimberly sneered.

“Yes, poor,” Octavia mumbled, her heart aching.

“The fact you were protecting her last time. Now look at you, a fool of a person thinking for the weak,” Kimberly spat.

Octavia walked away, saying, “This isn’t your first time here in the palace, so you probably know where my father’s study is, right, Kimberly?”

“No, I don’t remember. Actually, why don’t you show me the place?”

Octavia replied with a firm, “No, thank you.”

“Wow, she’s rude,” Kimberly muttered.

---

Everything was set in motion. The sun was at its highest peak, and everyone gathered at the courtyard, awaiting Sasha’s arrival. Kimberly asked to be seated in front so she could see her father’s murderer.

“Could this be the end of everything? Could this be the peace I was waiting for after their deaths? Is it really the end? Should I really trust Octavia to save me from this hell? She is a royal, after all,” Sasha’s thoughts raced as she was led to the guillotine.

“The same people that discriminate against us, the same who say they will do anything for the weak but continue to hurt us. Should I really believe Ms. Octavia?” Sasha’s heart pounded in her chest.

---

“She has arrived, the culprit!” the crowd screamed, throwing things in her direction.

As she was put into the guillotine, Kimberly stood up and shouted, “Woman, for the crimes you have done, I’ll never forgive you. I hope you rest in hell!”

Octavia then spoke, her voice cold and detached, “We are gathered here to witness the murderer known as Sasha get what she deserves.”

Sasha looked at the speech Octavia gave and the crowd cheering on. She was scared. She thought Octavia had betrayed her. She wanted her gone. She didn’t believe Sasha was innocent.

“Octavia!” Sasha screamed, her voice filled with desperation. “Why are you doing this? Please, I’m sorry! I didn’t do the crime! Let me go! I witnessed my brother and father die! Why won’t you listen to me? I have to continue living to honor their legacy. I’m begging you!”

Octavia’s cold demeanor vanished as she turned and said, “Do it, Father.”

The king then said, “Let’s all pray. We will open our eyes once done.”

The sound of the blade came down, and all that could be heard was Sasha screaming, “Octavia!”

A few minutes passed, and as everyone opened their eyes, all they could see was a bloody body with no head left.
