Enjoy ITS SHORT BUT DON'T WORRY THE NEXT WILL BE A BANGER
The next day had come. Sasha was in Octavia's room, sleeping in her bed, while Octavia was on the dresser. As the sun shined on their faces, they woke up and recalled everything that had happened the night before.
"Are you ready to start our day?" Octavia asked, still half asleep.
Sasha replied, "Wow, your bed is really comfortable. Well, Octavia, I have to go and work now. I'll see you later, then we'll investigate more. If you need help getting ready, I can wait."
"Yes, also, if you like, you can take a bath here in my room so it's faster. Also, my father wants to see me, apparently it's urgent. So let me take a bath, then you can help me, then you can take a bath."
"Okay, then I guess we are now ghost girls."
"What?" Octavia chuckled. "Okay, best ghost girl number two."
"You made the name longer, oh my," Sasha said, shaking her head.
-----
Octavia was seen walking downstairs to eat breakfast and hear what her father had to say. As she walked, she was greeted by her father.
"Octavia, my princess, come eat with your father," the king calmly said.
Octavia nodded and sat down. "So, Father, what's going on?"
"Well, my princess, the king of the West has died, and the kingdom of the East has seen the opportunity to try taking the kingdom under their control."
Octavia then said, "Wait, but isn't Kimberly, the daughter of the king, supposed to take over?"
"Yes, but the East is trying to manipulate her into making the East take control until she's of age to rule. But of course, there's another reason they're doing this."
"Possibly, if they take control, they can make it seem Kimberly didn't exist and continue to rule the West, which is bad."
"So my goal is to go to the East and find a way to prevent that from happening. All kingdoms will be attending."
"I see. Also, Father, I wanted to ask, doesn't it seem strange only three kingdoms were ruled by men? What happened to the women of the other kingdoms?"
"Well, to explain it simply for you, Octavia, I don't know, actually. All I know is the kingdom of the East and South, the other halves were killed by who knows."
"Oh, that's why the South has a queen," Octavia said.
"Correct. Also, Octavia, would you like to know how your mother... died?"
Octavia froze. She didn't know what to say or what to do. All she could say was, "No, I don't want to know. It's best for the both of us that we don't know," Octavia said, desperately holding back her tears.
The king then said, "Okay, I understand. So will you come with me on today's trip to the East?"
Octavia remembered what Henry had said but pushed it aside as she saw it as a chance to go and investigate more about Henry's murder.
She replied, "Yes, of course, Father. Why wouldn't I?"
"The maids already made us lunch for the trip, even though it won't be long. We are only staying for-"
---
Here we are at the kingdom of the East, although you've already been here," the king said.
"Yes, Father, I have," Octavia mindlessly responded.
As they entered the kingdom, the king headed to the meeting room, and Octavia requested to go to the library.
**KING'S POV**
"Welcome to the kingdom of the East, dear friend," Ethan said.
"Yeah, it's been long, hasn't it, King East?"
"I see you still have your humor, but it needs work, Nathaniel of the North," Ethan said.
"My, my, the boys in the room are arguing already before we get to real business," the queen of the West, Susan, said.
"I don't see the need to announce yourself, we know who you are," Ethan said.
"Susan, always dramatic for no apparent reason," Nathaniel said.
"Anyway, aren't we going to begin on real matters? Who gets to rule the West?" Susan walked and took a seat.
The rest followed.
