Chapter 4

Third person's POV

Afraid to face her crush Janine was quick enough to divert the conversation saving Heather from embarrassment.

" Nabanggit ko kasi na may kulang pa samin and tinanong ni Heather kung sino which sinagot ni Adie" Janine said
which brought relief to Heather and making a mental note to thank Janine later for saving her also to knock some sense on Adie for almost revealing her on Arthur.

"Ohhh I see, pero bat naghahabulan sila?" Arthur then said which caused Heather to take off her grip on Adie's shirt (Oh, I see, but why were they chasing each other)

"Kinuha kasi kanina ni Adie phone phone niya" franz then added (It's because Adie took her phone)

The tension died down and then Adie and Heather took a seat whilst Arthur took a seat in front of Hearther although someone was and it was John aka Arthur's producer although Janine did save Heather from being revealed that didn't stop the other from trying to taunt her which now set up Arthur to sat in front of her.

"Oh um, I haven't introduced... Arthur si Heather nga pla ung sinasabi kong friend ko that I met at the coffee shop" Adie then said although Heather wasn't aware she was still thinking about what had happened earlier and Janine was quick to notice so she softly nudged to put out Heather on a trance (Oh um, I haven't introduced... Arthur this is Heather the friend that I told you that I met on the coffee shop)

Heather's pov

I'm angry cause Adie spilled the beans on me, and I'm embarrassed cause now everyone in this room knows except for Arthur himself of course, I'm Happy cause I finally got to meet him in person, but I'm freaking out mentally cause this wasn't the way I imagined how we will meet and.

My thoughts were interrupted when Janine softly nudged me on the side I looked up and saw Arthur offering his hand and thankfully my brain was still functioning well I was able to conclude that Adie had introduced me to him so I shook his hands and built up the courage and say:

"It's nice to meet you," I said as I shook his hands giving him a smile we then both sat down after shaking hands

"So... are you two dating it seems like sobrang close kayo eh" Arthur then said as he took a spoon of his food (So... are you two dating it seems like you two are close)

"Uh no we're not, we're just friends," Me and Adie said in sync which earned a laugh from the others

"Maniwala ka sa kanila Arthur totoo yan no joke parang magkapatid nga mag bangay kya nga ganun itsura nila kanina nung maabutan mo" John said laughing as he recalls the situation earlier and thank fully dismissing the reason on why we were like that. (believe them Arthur it's true no joke they're like siblings that fights that's why they look like one when you caught the)

"ah I see" He then said and then everyone went to chat with each other while I on the other side was still processing everything that had happened when I felt a nudge but this time it wasn't from Janine instead it was from Adie and he was giving me the "I'm sorry" look

"Ah Heather you should tell Arthur about yourself since wala siya kanina nung nagpakilala ka kanina sa amin," Janine said trying to lighten up my mood (Heather you should tell Arthur about yourself since he wasn't here when you had told us about yourself)

"Well again I'm Heather Fernandez and I'm 20 which makes me probably the youngest in the room right now and I'm a 2nd-year college taking BSPT or Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the International Medical Academy of the Philippines." I then said

"oh you're still in college, may I ask what are your hobbies?" Arthur then added as prompted his elbow down the table signaling he was interested in the answers to his questions or I was just overthinking things.

"Well in terms of sports, I play golf, badminton, and ping pong. But I also love mountaineering, off-road biking, and Scuba diving. I love to draw and paint. I love to read and write poems. I also play a lot of video games. Lastly, I love playing piano." I then answered proudly it seems a lot but it's all my hobbies.

Since I probably didn't mention those earlier to the others all of them had their mouth wide open from shock probably except for Adie of course he knows all of these and he had the same expression when he first came to know.

"Wow you are so talented" Jason exclaimed as he got over the shock

All of them agreed which did kind of boost my ego a bit but not all too much. When I turned to Arthur it seemed like he had more questions to follow but he seemed more eager for me to answer the next questions. He then asked what video games I played in which I answered any shooting games, Genshin and Minecraft.

When One person pointed out that I had a similar game liking to a streamer named Azurabxby it made me nervous for a second but all of them thankfully brushed it off. Arthur then proceeded to say that we should play sometimes which reminded me to thank one of my streamer friends which is TinaKitten for creating a second account. Which I named Asteriabxby yeah quite similar.

After we all ate I looked at the time and it was 7:30 pm which made my eyes widen since I usually start streaming around 8:30 which took the attention of Adie and Janine. They proceeded to ask if I was alright and I replied that I was ok but needed to go home before 8:30.

"Malapit pinagparkan namin hatid kana namin" Janine kindly suggested as we walk faster (We just parked nearby we can drop you off)

"Oh no it's ok I just live a few streets away I'll just take a walk" I then said as I tried to get my things from Adie

"Ren dali na, it's nighttime, how about this walk nalang uli- "He then started but was shortly cut off by the ringtone of his phone

As Adie was talking to the person on his phone, I saw him scratch the back of his head and his face turning into a disappointed face which made me think that he might have an emergency meeting he will go to.

"Sorry I have a meeting in 30 minutes need ko na lumakad" Adie said with an apologetic face (Sorry I have a meeting in 30 minutes I need to go)

I was about to reply and say that it was alright when Arthur spoke up which made my heart beat faster than it normally does.

"Ah ako nalang mag hatid kay Heather Pauwi, Since I went here with a separate car," he said as he motioned to his car keys and struck that cute smile of his (I will accompany Heather on her way home, Since I went here with a separate car)

When he said that I almost lost my cool and just wanted to scream out loud gushing over the fact but then when I turned to look at Adie, I saw a smirk take over on his face as he thanked Arthur of course, even though he had been mischievous this day he's still one of my closest friends so I decided to give him a goodbye hug only for him to taunt me more

"Luck is on your side today, have fun and enjoy!" He said out loud as we pulled apart from the hug and proceeded to practically run inside the car and close the door before even giving the others a chance to hop in the car.

"It was nice meeting Heather, I hope we can hang out with you again," Janine said as she gave me a hug

After they all bid their goodbyes to me, they all hopped in the car and I waved them goodbye as the car continued to move as soon as the car was gone nowhere in sight then I heard someone clear their throat behind me.

I almost forgot Arthur was with me so I turned around and once again I was met with that heart-melting smile of his. He then checked his phone and turned it off turning his attention back to me.

"So shall we?" He said motioning for me to lead the way
