"Oh! Chinggu! It's you! it's been a while since I last saw you and wow you've grown up na grabe" Angie said as she finally took a good look at Arthur
Which made me wonder how they knew each other. As far as I remember "Chinggo" was his nickname he had mentioned in one of the vlogs that he was in so they must be close friends.
"Ate Ange yeah it's been a while I think third-year college ako nung last tayo nag kita," Arthur said as they exchanged friendly hugs
"Yeah, true nawalan na ako ng time makipag catch up kay ate mo after that, tapos nabalitaan ko nasa US na siya," Angie said as they apart from the hug (Yeah, true I had no time to catch up with your sister after that, then I heard that she is in the US)
This made me conclude that they must've known each other thru his sister judging from the fact that she had mentioned his sister out of nowhere.
"Oh! Wait Heather you must be confused now, Classmate kami ng ate niya during college and madalas ako gumala sakanila that time... anyways how come you two are seeing each other at this time in this place huh?" Angie explained but then somehow turned into an interrogation. (I was his sister's classmate during college and I frequently hung out in their house at that time)
"Kaya nga... Are you guys secretly seeing each other perhaps???" Andrei butted in the conversation which kind of took me by surprise he had probably been listening to this whole time.
"Oh! You guys are mistaken were just friends I had accidentally left something at her apartment nung pumunta kami dun" Arthur answered when I heard the word "just" kind of stung but then again he had just met me a few weeks ago and also it's not like I have a chance with him.
"We just had to meet at this time cause I had homework to finish earlier," I said but just emphasized the homework a bit just for them to get the hint that I was streaming earlier
Then Angie and Andrei made an 'o" shape meaning they had understood hopefully Arthur hadn't caught on to it. I hadn't told Adie about it yet and I had planned to tell him first he was best friend after all although I hadn't dared to tell him yet.
After that, Angie and Andrei had left to serve the customers who just entered the cafe.
"How's school going so far for you?" Arthur asked as he took a sip of his coffee.
"Hell like it was before possibly 3x harder than last semester," I said with a bit of exaggeration on the 3x times harder which earned a laugh from him
"You'll get through it," He said with an encouraging smile and oh lord am I encouraged because of that.
"How about you any update on your music you don't have to say it if you don't want to," I asked him as I propped my elbows on the table and clasped my hands together
"It's okay, Meron ako irelease na single but that's all I can say for now," He said with a sly smile
"by the way Adie had mentioned that you have work what kind of work do you-" He started but was cut off by both our phones pinged at the same time. Huh, wonder what is this for.
"Speaking of-" I said as I go through my phone
It was Adie from one of the security stationed at the entrance gate of the condo telling me Adie was there and if I should let him in which I granted but he would have to wait for me at the lobby since there was no one at the condo at the moment
