Switched and Lies

Rylie’s POV

“Everyone, this is Josh…my boyfriend.” I said. Liam dropped his guitar and left through the metal door.

“Liam,” I said, staring to run after him, until someone grabbed my hand restraining me from chasing after him.

“Rylie let it go.”Josh said holding my hand. “He’ll be alright.”

Why did he run off? Did he forget the words to the song, was it something I said, or was it-no, it can’t be! Does Liam have feelings for me?

“What’s his problem?” Niall said already chowing down into the cake.

“I think Liam’s got feelings for--”

“Please don’t say it.” I cut Zayn off.

“Rylie!”

“No, you said it.” I hung my head stomped my foot.

“Rylie, please don’t tell me you have feelings for Liam.” Josh said to me, holding both of my hands in his.

“No, I don’t, it’s just, I feel bad that I hurt his feelings. Now he’s run off and I didn’t explain everything to him.” I said.

“Rylie, everything will be okay, just give him some time to take everything in.” Ally said to me giving me a hug.

“I know, it’s just, he was like a brother to me and I can’t afford to lose him.” I said squeezing her back.

“Anyway, how did you guys meet?” Abby asked, helping Niall with the cake.

“Well, during Christmas break I went to the sporting store to get a new lacrosse stick for the upcoming season. I was looking around in the stick section--”

“Haha, stick section.” Harry snickered.

“And she saw me there, and I was like looks so familiar. Then I realized that she played against my sister Johanna a few times. I would always go to Johanna’s games because my parents couldn’t make it sometimes. Then I became interested in Art so I decided that I would go to GHAA. Well I play hockey so I needed a hockey stick and I walked over to the same section Rylie was in. I asked where she went to school and she said The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Then I told her that I had applied and got into that school. And well a lot of talking and flirting and outings later, I asked Rylie if she would go out with me and she agreed.” Josh said.

“Aww, you guys make such a cute sporty couple.” Ally said to us.

“Thanks. So who is ready to eat some cake, if there is any left?” I looked at Abby and Niall who both had cake all over their faces and we all laughed.

Anna’s POV

“Okay class, take out your homework.” Mr. Fitz said to my Calculus class. I hated this class, I never had any idea what was going on and I am pretty sure that I am just passing this class with a D. I have asked Shania for help because she is the best at it out of all of us, but even when I asked her I still didn’t understand the topic. Truthfully, I didn’t even do the homework so I better be prepared for Mr. Fitz’ Anna I am very disappointed in you face.

Mr. Fitz walked over to my desk, “Anna, Mendez,” he shook his head, “you really need to bring this grade up, or else you will either be switch out of this class, or fail and have to retake it again.”

“I know, I will try harder, I have been asking Shania for help and I am slowly getting there.” I said. Okay, I lied. I have been asking Shania for help but I don’t get any of this fucking shit that it on the papers in front of me.
