"Pulsar!" Pulsations once again erupted in his clenched fists, activating his pulses. "Hakyushu: Pulse Piston!" He rapid-fired punches towards Bulls' unguarded body, violently smashing into the streetlamps and ending up on an electric post.
The post pinned Bulls down electrocuting him.
"I'm sorry, you'll die... in a hot... painful way."
Heavily panting for air, Leo rubs his head after a warm fluid drips down on his cheek, "Congratulations, this wound will give me ten stitches and a beautiful scar." The blood over his trembling hands etched in his eyes.
"Though I never knew what pain meant, loss never failed to hurt me. Not because I love victory, but because losing means that everything you gave up is not enough. I disappoint myself, lose people, so I taught myself how not to attach myself to anyone."
"My parents... Mr. Philippe... you are the people I lost because I failed."
"I moved to save them not for show, heroes do that, I'm not one of them. This is to reconcile my old self who failed to save his parents... pathetic am I?"
"Back then, I could've done more... now I couldn't do less. Can't allow it."
"What is pain? It might not be the injury, but the guilt of not being there when they needed you."
"Pain. Suffering. Failure. Guilt. All different, all the same."
He looks over his shoulder, his foe remains being shock continuously, "This kid... must thank him for reliving me this feeling..."
"...or not, but that could have been nice if he's still alive."
He starts to walk, limping, "Yeah, I guess I won't get to know more about Mr. Phili–" a gleam strikes his peripheral.
"Stop." Leonardo paused and turned to face the voice.
"You son of a..." Leonardo grins as he turns, "How many lives do you actually have?"
"We're not yet done." Bulls radiated a blue hue as electricity visibly flowed over his wounded body. Hand holding a live power line.
"That's interesting," Leonardo whispers after seeing it.
Bulls dashed towards Leonardo and let out a barrage of punches, "Thanks for making me realize something."
"Same here." Intercepting with his fists, Leonardo's weakened legs erupted with power once more. "And what are those?"
"You never listened, you shut yourself in your mind so hard you can no longer hear what your heart yearns!" A blow lands on his cheek. "You said they took your parents' lives, right?"
"Don't dare bring that up."
"They loved you and treated you with love! And after losing them you sought those who took them away, because that's what your mind wants, but that's not what you need!"
"Shut up!" His fist hits Bulls again.
"You want revenge and heal what's hurting inside... you forget what your heart needs!" Bulls lands consecutive punches on Leo's torso. "Companionship, belongingness, encouragement! That's the reason why you followed him even if you know how evil he truly is!"
Leo smashes his back on a concrete pillar, "You will never understand! You lost no one!" Bulls disappeared from his sight.
"No." Right fist tucked in his torso, feet bent, close under Leo's shadow. "I lost my world."
