A water puddle calmly feels the breeze that passes over its surface, gently guiding a fallen leaf, and spins along. Ripples bounce back and forth in every spin. All quiet and at peace, until the water rippled, not because of the leaf nor the wind, it came from the earth. It rippled once more, stronger. Again and again. The earth that contains the water cracks and the water seeps through, leaving the leaf all alone. Then, another tremble shook and the leaf got stepped on and the sudden gusts of wind replaced the breeze.

Quick pants heave air in and out the lungs of those who exchange kicks and punches.

"Slow." Bulls barely dodges a leg swing, grazing his cheek with a hot, steaming boot.

"You are." Fireleg switches his feet and throws a straight kick.

Bulls rolls and quickly stands before sprinting out of his opponent's range.

"That won't work!" Fireleg kicks rocks towards his foe, like burning cannonballs flying like bullets.

Bulls lowered his torso and guarded his head with his forearm as he ran around the protruded stone pillars.

"I'm too far." Bulls slides down the ground and kicks a small boulder, sending it flying towards Fireleg.

"That tactic's an old trick." He swings his blazing leg around, hitting the boulder before Bulls' as he tries to sneak and slip an attack. "Do something new!"

"Go closer!" Bulls supported his almost collapsed body with his left leg and threw an uppercut.

Fireleg dodges, "You–" but he loses sight of Bulls.

"Ten Pound..."

Fireleg presses his feet harder on the ground, his flames burn hotter.

Bulls dive-bombs from midair and throws a punch at his opponent's face but misses. He rolls as he lands and aimed for his opponent's legs while on a low stance, "Power Saw!"

"Hell-bent Avenue!"

Their leg swings blocked each other in an equilibrium.

"Lighthouse." Fireleg pulls his leg downward, crashing into Bulls' arm, breaking it. "That is satisfying." He leaps backwards.

"Argghhhhhh!" Bulls screams in pain.

"I told you, I will take your lives. If you won't struggle, I'm going to generously take it fast."

"You disrespected a friend of mine." Bulls clenches his fist and pushes himself back up, "So I've made up my mind, I'll defeat you no matter what."

"That man who almost ended you? What a joke." Fireleg disappears. However, his footsteps are clearly telling Bulls where he is. "Come try!"

"Behind, right?" Bulls turns around but his opponent has already kicked him

"You're too stiff, try to loosen up a bit. Are you even trying? I can't feel it." Fireleg came close to Bulls and kicked him up. His attack lifts Bulls off the ground and then sends away with another kick. "Just give up, kid!" Fireleg swings his leg violently. "Hell-bent Avenue!"

Bulls flies in the air after he receives a powerful hit from his opponent. Everything around him becomes slower. His eyes start to feel tired and his senses slowly shut off, he knows that he is about to faint.

"I'm tired... I can't move a muscle... I just want to close my eyes and sleep." A faint smile erupted from his bloodied lips, "How I wish Rocks was here."

Before his eyes closed, he heard himself calling for his best friend's name.

Eight years earlier...
