"Eight years have passed since that Orochi revealed his true nature, Captain!" Yells Takeo in frustration, "We cannot allow another year to pass with him reigning falsely over the people of Chicola! He violated the land, ruined everything we once had. Even the children want to fight! Look at Rin, Ryu, and Rikka, my little sister who only wants no one to get hurt anymore. They are only children!"

"Age is not a defining factor of a person's will and resolve." The winged man spoke firmly. "I know, brother. I am teaching them what they must learn and be able to fight not only for themselves but also for the many. However, we don't need to rush everything, young man." Wingard walks toward him over the wide hall, putting his hands over Takeo's stiff, burdened shoulders. "You must see that time is not our enemy..."
"Nor our ally!" Takeo walks over, covering his face. "Captain, my father has been held for that long, we don't know if he is still alive. I have to avemge him, this country, our people!"
"Brother, I understand your anger. Your father is a good friend of mine, so you are but you must understand that we are who this country needs the most, we cannot allow our emotions to falter, to succumb to the pressure because that is what that worm wants us to feel."
He approaches Takeo and lowers his voice, "We will one day strike and once that day comes, no more lives will perish. I can assure you, young man, we will save this country."
"Wingard-san, Take-san!" A kid rushes from the entrance of the hall.
"Ryu, what is wrong? Why are you in haste?" He kneels to his level, asking the kid with great concern.
"The Deities."
They rush toward the entrance of the village, seeing tens of their allies crowding over an individual. Over the walls of the Village, they saw two giant beings walking away into the forest, "Mountain Deities."
Wingard lands before the crowd of people, "Give us some space, please!"
Everyone is in great shock to see a kid in a loincloth, bruised and injured but that is not his defining factor. The child is taller than the average human, causing rumors and speculation to spread across the village immediately.

"Is he all right?" Asks Rin, holding a bamboo sword in her hands, training at Wingard's dojo, outside in its garden. Beside her stood Ryu and Rikka, both swinging their swords on a bamboo pole as they observed the new kid do the same exercise they had been tasked to do. "He seemed weak and sad ever since he started joining us here."

"Children, please be quiet." Wingard calmly spoke, guiding them with his swing to allow the children to imitate his movement. He paused and looked back at his students, kneeling to their level. "I need you all to understand that Akio is our friend, he is quite timid but let him be friends with you just like how you befriended each other."
