Palpatine; Jedi Order's Reconstruction

A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of this story! I hope you all didn't wait too long for this chapter to be released to you all! I know that you all want to see more of this story and far be it from me to take that chance away from you all. Some of the events in this chapter will be from the Clone, Rex's, perspective. I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Captain Rex had moved throughout Coruscant as he and the 501st Legion had made their way towards the Senat Building. They had heard from some of the populace that Chancellor Palpatine had gone there to make an announcement to the Republic. He just hoped that he could get there in time to arrest the Chancellor for his complete betrayal of the Jedi Order as well as the Republic. They were coming in towards the Senate Building as some Clones stationed outside of the building noticed them incoming. "What business do you all have here, soldier?" One of them questioned as Rex stood forward. "We had reason to believe that Chancellor Palpatine had ordered the deaths of all the Jedi and is a traitor to the Republic." Rex stated as the clones in front of him stared at him for a moment. "Whatever are you talking about?" They asked, as Rex gave his explanation. "There is no way the Chancellor Palpatine is betraying the Republic! If you do not back down here and now, we will arrest you for treason!" The clone warriors say as they point their blasters at Rex. "Soldiers, whatever you do. Do. Not. Fire." Rex said, as he stood proud in front of the clones pointing their weapons at him. "Who are you to tell us what we can and cannot do! The Jedi are corrupt and tried to kill the Chancellor!" The clone troopers in front of Rex said, as the Clone himself glared at them. "What have the Jedi done recently that warranted us to be completely brainwashed into killing them for treason?" Rex questioned, as the clones stared at him.  "From the way I see it, the Jedi had never done anything wrong. Those who were Jedi and had become corrupt had seen the errors of their ways soon after they were arrested. The Jedi General who I had worked for, had been a very favored individual within the Senate. And even he claims that Palpatine had manipulated him into betraying the Jedi." Rex said, as he lied about the Anakin part. The clones stared at him in shock within their helmets, and as they stared at Rex for a moment longer, that bought Rex all the time to throw an EMP in front of them knocking them away from the Senate Building. And as soon as that was done, the Clones laying on the ground were unconscious as Rex and the 501st Legion had entered the Senate Building. Looking for the Sith Lord that Anakin was manipulated by for the last 10 years of his life.

Deep within the Senate, Palpatine was seen preparing for his speech of turning the Galaxy against the Jedi. However unknown to the Sith Lord, and Captain Rex... another person had already arrived within the Chancellor's chambers. As the Sith Lord's guards were suddenly tossed against the wall unconscious, Sidious had glared over at who had just entered the room. And he growled audibly as it was soon revealed to be Grandmaster Yoda of the Jedi Order. "Bringing an end, to your reign I am." Yoda said, as he stared at the old Sith. As the two old men stared at one another, one holding onto his cane, and the other slowly moving around his seat to glare at Yoda, Sidious spoke. "You cannot defeat me Jedi! I have already won!" Sidious said, pulling out a hand. "Defeat you to bring back Balance, I will." Yoda said, igniting his Lightsaber. And moments after that was done, Sidious sent Yoda across the room with a Force Push and as soon as he tried to escape, Yoda appeared in front of him igniting his Lightsaber once again. "Fearful within the Force, you are. If you can defeat me, why run?" Yoda questioned as Sidious growled again before summoning a Lightsaber and igniting it. "I have no time for this! I must get to Lord Vader!" Sidious called out, as the Grandmaster of the Order had clashed with him in the Chancellor's hall. 

As the 501st Legion of Clone Troopers ran through the halls of the Senate Building, they heard the telltale sound of Lightsaber combat and moved towards where a battle was happening. Entering the massive Senate area where the sounds were coming from, Rex had looked upwards to find Grandmaster Yoda fighting Palpatine on his own. "Men! Provide covering fire for the Grandmaster!" Rex called out, as Yoda felt the movement through the Force behind himself. As the old Master moved out of the way of the blaster fire, he watched as Sidious was forced to defend himself against the barrage of blaster fire. "What in the Galaxy is going on!? I thought the 501st Legion were on my side!" Palpatine called out. "Chancellor Palpatine! You are hereby under arrest for the betrayal of the Galaxy as well as the manipulation of General Skywalker!" Rex called out, as he and his group had arrived behind him now. As Palpatine glared at the 501st Legion of Clones, he threw his Force Lightning against the Clones as most of them were killed from the blast. But some of the Clones had launched blaster fire at him forcing him to use his Lightsaber to block and send the blaster fire back at them. Within the next few minutes, the rest of the Senate would enter the building in time to see the Clones turning on the Chancellor before noticing something. Grandmaster Yoda was here, not to mention the fact that Chancellor Palpatine was holding a red lightsaber... something that most Jedi would state that a Fallen Jedi or a Sith Lord would wield. And almost as soon as Palpatine believed that the Senate would state that the Jedi are to be arrested, Padme Amidala had shown up glaring at him. "People of the Republic, Senate and all! Palpatine is a traitor to the Republic! For he had orchestrated the entire Clone Wars from the very beginning!" She called out, as all the other Senators stared at her in disbelief. Even the ones who were within the Separatist movement had stopped arguing with her before staring at Palpatine in shock. If the Chancellor had been the one in charge, he caused the war to break out between the Jedi, Republic and themselves. If they really wanted peace to reign over everything, they would need to stop Palpatine from gaining even more power within the Republic. And with that, every single Senator had elected that whilst Palpatine was the acting Chancellor, he had to call off the order to kill the Jedi. Whilst he was defending himself from the Clones. And as soon as he growled a bit, he called off the order to kill the Jedi and as soon as that happened every Jedi who had remained had been on the run from the Clones. And the Clones who had turned on their Jedi Generals had become very remorseful about their actions causing the deaths of their own Generals. All across the Galaxy, Clones had decided to head back to Coruscant in order to question what in the hell had happened and why Palpatine ordered them to kill the Jedi. Little did they know, that Palpatine himself was being tried for the murders of over 8,000 Jedi who were on the battlefield. And with a smile on his face, Rex turned around to head out of the Senate building in order to return back to Anakin and Izumi. The last two people who he believed cared for the Clone army they commanded within the Galaxy.
