A Dragons Prophecy - Ninjago/ Wings of Fire

Chapter 4 - The Discussion

Each of the dragons, lay in the study room, each reading a subject that they like. The green eyes of the Mudwing glance at the Skywing, who shakes his head. As he looks up to see the old Nightwing sitting on a rock, with his eyes closed, not paying attention to the dragonets.

The small dragon huffs as he looks down at the scroll in his paws, he taps it being gentle not to rip the paper, he turns to look at the other dragons. Kai is sitting up, his long tail sitting on his talons as he looks down at his scroll on the ground. Zane is laying down, reading his scroll, which he holds gently his in claws.

Cole sighs softly as he tries to focus on his scroll. 'Traits of a Sandwing.' He gently tucks his wings into his side as he watches as the old dragon suddenly opens his eyes and looks at each of the dragons, studying each of them as he gets up with a small growl as he agitates his wounds that have been covered up.

Zane looks up at the older dragon as he wraps his tail around the small dragon at his side, which happened to be Jay. All the dragons tense up, watching the older dragon move, like he was going to pounce on any of them. 

"You all will continue to study until I return" He growls out as they watch as he leaves the room, and they sit there until they hear the recognizable sound of a rock being forced to move.

Each of the dragon gets up and move over to each other. Jay looks at both dragons and he flicks his tail a lot. "You said we needed to talk about something?" Zane asks as he tilts his head, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his legs and he looks at the two smaller dragons.

Kai huffs as he looks around the room. "Probably about Wu pretending not being injured?" Cole tenses up and he spreads his wings more and he looks up at the red dragon and moves closer to his side, feeling the warmth come off him.  "I believe it does" Jay looks at Cole and motions him with his paw to explain.

Cole looks up at both dragons and he steps forward, drawing the dragon's attention to him, he fluffs up his webbed wings. "Wu came in during the night with something in his claws." Cole hums out as he flicks his tail a lot, trying to keep calm.

Looking at all the dragons in the room and he sits down and huffs softly. "It was an egg, I couldn't tell which tribe that it came from.

Jay and him get up and walk over to where the hatching room is.  The wall looks like it was smoothed down by a dragon's fire breath and where the entrance is supposed to has another rock sitting in its place. "It was open."

They all stand around the rock, staring at it in silence. Kai was the first to break the silence as he steps towards it and he swings his claws at it, which does nothing. "Are you kidding me?" Kai hisses out as he looks at the others.

"These caves keep getting smaller and smaller" Kai growls as Cole and Jay nod. Zane looks at them with a disapproved look as he flicks his tail. "We can't leave yet" Zane huffs out, which makes Kai look at him in shock.

"If there is an egg in there, we can't leave it, they will have to suffer by themselves" Zane looks at each of the dragons, who nod in agreement. Cole steps towards the Icewing, then shivers at the cold radiates off him. "But we will be here as they grow" Cole says and looks at the others. "Which can be another 3 to 5 years" He huffs and the others nod. "We just have to do it" Jay replies then looks at Kai.

"We'll wait and develop a plan to escape then" Kai growls out, knowing that he is outnumbered in this situation. They all turn to the main rock that keeps them in the cave system. "Let's go and pretend to study, he'll be back soon" Zane pushes each of the dragons into the study room.
