4178 was flabbergasted by the thought of anyone believing a dictatorship could work in a society. It has proven that no past government was able to succeed in their country, with poverty, famine, wars, crimes, and everything in between. The council was perfected and has never failed society nor the economy until now. The president has been murdered and people believe it's the time without the government controlling us. That's why the crimes have skyrocketed even if it's been few. He cleared his throat, wanting to ask without sounding rude, deprecating, or getting himself killed. "Out of pure interest... How do you think you will be able to break into Dana and take over? I don't think the people would like it if you murder the whole council and destroy the way things have been for thousands of years."

The leader nodded and put his index fingers to his mouth, "There is no crime allowed, but it doesn't mean that people don't want to commit them. It's the thrill of the crime that excites ones boring life. And over the few days I have been able to gather a team of those people. You included of course."

I don't want to commit a crime. I just want to live and not be killed by you. 4178 thought to himself as he then wondered if a huge chunk of his team also felt the way he felt. Were all of these people faking it just to save their lives? If they were, when would they finally have enough and stand up for themselves. Tell the leader that this was ludicrous and would end up with all of them dying.

His members walked closer towards the two and got in front and behind them. Two in the back, two on each side, and four in the front including the leader. They were trapped in a slightly tight circle with no opening other than the inch or two openings for personal space.

"Alright, let's go back to our base and we'll introduce you to your new home!" Extremely eager, he sped walk with the group, forcing 3007 and 4178 to walk with them.

3007 moved closer to 4178 and squeezed his forearm slightly. 4178 turned to look at them and saw how they had no reaction to anything going on. The brave face and tone were only caused by their faking it; no cigarette had made 3007 this calm. In a good way, it showed everyone that they both were dangerous and would put up a good fight if anything. And now, even though 3007 did not feel fear or worry, they found a slight comfort in being close to 4178. If they were both interlocked, unable to be separated, everything would work out fine. 4178 smiled assuring them that they were both going to be safe. Even if he didn't really know if that was going to be true. He just needed to keep it together and help 3007 keep their emotions at bay. Make sure they kept smoking so they wouldn't react the way they did and freak out the leader of this gang, making him see that both 3007 and 4178 were weaker than he thought. Killing them and leaving them behind as he tried to take over Devin.

The walk to the base was long and silent, only the footsteps and weapons clinking together broke the silence. Even the wind stood still. 4178 watched the path they took towards that base and noted any special buildings he saw. He knew that if given the chance to escape, he would need to know how to get back home quickly and not get lost in the process. It scared him though; how would he escape and leave unharmed. How would he take 3007 with him? 4178 would be able to escape himself but with 3007, the escape could be more difficult. Both having to make sure no attention is brought, they work together and don't mess up the plan by accidentally making too much noise and then having to run all the way back. 3007 was athletic, but 4178 wasn't, he'd slow them both down and could cause both to get captured again. He sighed quietly knowing that as of now, there was no escape. The only plan he had, was to follow every instruction the leader gave and hope it's enough to keep himself alive.

Leaving 3007 behind and having to take care of himself, it reminded him of his childhood, making him crave alcohol. Recalling how every day his parents were drunk so there was never any food in the fridge or in the drawers. He and siblings would have starved and had to find food on their own if it weren't for the amazing technology of Devin. He would just order his food from the menu and eat it. He was being cared for by the chefs who cooked and the technology the engineers and scientists made. However, with drunk parents who never gave him attention or cared for him, he didn't know how to wash his clothes, clean his room, or do his homework half of the time. He spent all his time alone, having older siblings who only cared about being teenagers and going to parties. They didn't take the responsibility into taking care of him and they moved out the moment they graduated high school at sixteen. Leaving him alone for good, but he couldn't blame them when they didn't have the responsibility of caring for him.
