People stopped running around and calmed down after hearing and seeing 206 get shot to death. They all, traumatized, returned to the platform to see what was happening. If the council members were alive and were not hurt, or if they had been shot and were dead. Everyone was afraid to know the answer, but as they all approached and the information of what the Devin's at front were seeing making its way to the back, everyone knew that 2 was shot on the arm and 3 was killed.

4178 saw the medic coming over to help the wounded and he got up on the platform to help. He grabbed the bandages and they both ran over to 2. "I'm going to pull out the bullet and stitch you up," the medic explained as he grabbed a needle and struck him in the shoulder with anesthesia. Improvements were so advanced that the needle was thinner than a mosquito's mouth, nothing was felt but the medicine going in.

4178 put gauze over the wound to collect the blood and after the gauze was soaked in blood, put it into a container. He looked over at 3 and saw its body limp on the floor but without any blood. That fact overlooked him because of the shock he was in to see this catastrophic event occur.

4 looked at 5, the only two left uninjured, "What the fuck?! What is this? How? Why?"

5 shook her head, with tears in her eyes choking her words out, "I don't know... I don't know. What is that thing?"

4178's head began to clear, he saw all this going on and processed it, understood it. 2 was shot but otherwise would recover. The stitches were being placed and the bleeding was minimal. He helped tape up two layers of gauze and 2 was up and moving around. Looking over at 3's robot corpse and the people who were happy to see 2 alive and well.

4178 felt relief but very minimally, the only relief coming from helping 2. Now his focus was on 3 and like everyone else, they were all anxiously waiting to see what happened. 2 ran over to 3 and began whispering orders to 4 and 5. They nodded and ran over to The Dana as 2 stood up and took the microphone.

Just then, 9375 asked for the microphone, "I have something to say... Please."

2 suspiciously handed the microphone over to him. Wondering what he was going to say and if it would be the motive on why he killed the president. "Days ago, my husband was working at The Dana, guarding the room where the president and commander of technology were talking. They were having a meeting about something my husband was barely able to hear. It sounded secretive, more than how the council normally talked. #1 was telling the commander about how the experiment was going well.

"After the president and commander left the room, he entered without permission. His curiosity eating away at him. He searched the room for any clues and evidence of what they were talking about. It did not take long for him to find a piece of paper, a paper with a diagram of a Devin. Except the Devin, it was not made of flesh and bones, but instead of wires and hardware. A Devin made entirely out of technology, a robot."

People gasped and murmured amongst themselves. New information they had no idea of, that could affect their lives drastically. Wondering if this robot was already implemented and living among everyone, pretending to be a real Devin.

3007 began smoking, all this commotion and new information was too much to handle, and they were feeling their emotions starting to show themselves. With the cigarette, they felt much better, equipped to handle all this new and shocking information. 2 and 4178 stood there quietly; 4178 was shocked and unable to speak; 2 was trying to piece everything together and see if this all was true.

"My husband ran to tell me this. We both wondered if robots were living with us, pretending to be us. Both intrigued, my husband broke into the room again the next day and searched for more information. He found that there was only one robot alive, the test subject, Devin #3. Part of the council, making big decisions for us, and all along it was a robot."
