Never knew having a mate would be so hard

scared for the future.

               ~1 month later~

                 I sat outside staring at the lake in our back yard. I had an odd feeling."A war is coming."I looked over at Aliana."I know"I had a vision."So you realize what will happen to you?"She asked sitting down."You mean that i will become a goddess. There has always only been you,why me?Why now?"She pulled me closer."You have been special from the begining. I have tested you to see if you could properly lead our people. I have exsisted for so long,but for this war i will have to fight as well. You will need my powers to help win as i will need yours. From the begining there was to be two goddesses,but i had to wait for you to come. This will be hard for our people but sometimes you have to take the hard rode for the better of everyone."I nodded."How long do we have?"She shrugged."A year maybe two. The dark lord is growing stronger every day. They will be coming soon. I will have to put a protective bubble around all the people so they cant fight. Then you must use your power to stop the war and set them all on fire,but the evil Lord he will try to kill you. That will be your fight and your fight alone. No one can help you,for you are the one he wants."I put my hand over my stomach,knowing i had a tiny pup growing in me. Jude didnt know yet."Alright Aliana,i shall do what i must"She kissed my head dissapearing. I walked back inside calling a pack meeting. I stood infront of everyone frowning."My friends,and family. There is a war coming,a terriable war. Everyone must train for we could lose many. I shall be calling upon all packs, you must stay strong."I paced infront of everyone showing as much power as i could."Not only did i have a vision but i have also talked to Aliana,and she has confermed that the war shall come. For the first time ever she shall fight with us for this war is not of our kind alone but of the dark lord. She will try her hardest to protect us for that is what a goddess does. She sacrafices herself for her children. You must not fear,for fear fuels evil. I need to know that you all will fight for i need you to be strong."Both mine and  Judes back yelled that they will fight for me."I am sad that this news must come but tomorrow we start our training and we start our prayers,to the gods of other worlds."I brought Jude up and kissed him."In front of our pack id like to bring some happiness back into our hearts. There will be an heir to both packs. If anything were to happen to either me or Jude there will be a sucessor."The crowd looked confused. Jude kissed my neck taking a deep breath. I heard his wolf yelp with happiness."She carries our pup in her womb"He yelled happily. The packs cheered,congratulating us. I dissmissed everyone,groaning when i realized i had duties to do even though i just wanted to spend time with my mate.

                                        I walked into my office and sent an email to every alpha to meet at the place two days from now. I booked flights for everyone and paid for them. I then called the Queen and King,I told them everything and they laughed slightly at me."Darling you are Queen now, you dont need to notify us."I smiled when they said that. I did some paperwork then finished planning my wedding. Before i realized it was midnight."Baby, you need to get some sleep."Jude whispered walking inside."Mmmm,"I mumbled my eyes seriously heavy. Jude chuckled and walked over picking me up. Before i knew it my head was on the pillow and buried in the blankets. I felt Judes arms wrap around my waist and pull me closer to his chest. I sighed in pleasure as sparks lit up my body. It hurt to know that i more then likely would die during the battle and could have less then a year with him and our baby. But like i said earlier it is the ressponsibility of a Goddess to protect her people.

                                    I pulled on my floor length grey ball gown,with red swirls through it. My hair was curled to perfection and i put my crown on. My ancient ring was settled on my finger. I fixed my makeup and put on my red high heels. I put my red ruby necklace on and bracelet showing my rank. It was mandatory that i reminded people i was their queen. I walked downstairs seeing all 150 Alphas and their wives there. They all bowed with a hand over their heart. I sat on the throne and smiled at them."Alphas and Alpha Females i have called you hear today because a great war is aproaching. The dark lord is gathering people to attack us with. Now i have had a vision of this,it shall happen anywhere from 2 years to maybe 5. But you must train with all your might until then. Thankfully our goddess Aliana has seen that this is not just our war. She shall come down to help us defeat him. The death rate could be high but if we all work together we could take out the biggest threat to our kind. " The alphas gasped as they sat in their chairs."Now i believe that we should keep all the women and children on the England territory. The Alpha of that area has agreed that he and the other packs in Russia,Germany,Ireland, and the other countrys shall protect them. The only women that should stay are the warriors. I say this because we dont know the outcome, and we must insure our race carries on. Does anyone dissagree?"No one spoke up."Now i will give you the option of not joining in this war,for i cant force you. I may be your Queen but i am not a dictator. But i do everything with you in mind. I have been blessed in many ways and i will fight till my death to protect you."The alphas growled."But Queen Raven you are not to fight. You must always be safe."I smiled at the woman who spoke up."Dear child i know this. But by Alianas choice i must fight. I have been gifted with many powers and i must use them. But there will be a sucessor to the throne,if that makes you feel better. If anything were to happen to me the old Queen and King would take over until my pup can."I spoke strongly.The crowd cheered."We shall have an heir?"Someone asked."Yes i am pregnant with my mate Alpha Judes child."I said happily. Even amongst all this evil,there is still happiness in our lives.
