So this is what it was like waking up without having to get ready to get pumped with drugs. Trixe thought as she finished off the spicy sandwich putting the plate into the sink. A smile makes it way onto her face she was finally free but she still couldn't stay here.

Though this Nathan guy seemed to be very kind he probably didn't want her sticking around. Walking into the livingroom she looked peeking through the window curtains it was so beautiful outside the lab this was the first time she's got to see it since she's been stuck in the lab.

Unable to help herself she walked towards the front door slowly pulling it open light shines through before she steps through outside onto the porch. She could help but look around in amazement kids where running by laughing people where riding bikes and walking around. Looking up the sky was clear by a few puffy clouds it was all so beautiful.

Everyone was completely unaware of the horror that's happening probably a few miles away innocent people where dying and they where just having a great time enjoying the day. The same went from herself she left all the other experiments at the lab to save herself and now here she was just enjoy the beautiful day she gets chocked up over the thought she abandoned all of them.

Pulling off the sunglasses she wiped her tears away "Shit..." she whispered feeling guilty. Of course most of the other experiments where more responsive to the drugs and chemical then her making them brainless husks of what they where but they didn't deserve to die there. It was all the scientists and doctors faults not their own "Fuck all of them" she said rubbing her hands over her eyes "My mom said thats a bad word" she heard a small voice say looking up she saw alittle boy riding a red bike on the sidewalk in front of the house.

Raising a brow she looks down the sidewalk seeing the boy was alone he was much to young to be alone surely he looked about 7. Why was he walking around by himself he could get kidnapped or something he tilts his head looking at her "Woah! Your eyes are so cool!" her eyes widen she didn't even realize she was looking at him without the sunglasses on. She quickly puts the glasses back on "Are you Mr. Thompson friend? I've never seen him bring a girl over. I'm Garrett I live next door over there" he turns pointing his little finger at the blue house next door.

She looked toward the house to see no one was outside to watch this kid. People are so irresponsible "My mom told me to stay in the front yard and play with my toys but I wanna ride my new bike" he grins riding in a small circle she couldn't help but envy the boy he was happily oblivious to the world around him.

She wished she could have been the same at his age she should just turn around and leave him out here but her feet where planted "You shouldn't be talking to strangers" she whispered making him pout in her direction.

Despite herself she found herself smiling he was adorable with the mop of blonde curls striped red and blue shirt and jean shorts. He didn't look like the type of kid that would get into a lot of trouble "You sound just like my mom and dad. They always tell me not to bother other people but I just wanna make new friends" she laughs softly or course he shouldn't just run around talking to everyone and anyone.

Not everyone was friendly like her he really shouldn't be doing that "Me and my mom sometimes take the bus to the park and I talk to the strangers there to. That's how my mom and dad met I ran up to him because I wanted to play with the ball he had my mom ran after me. Isn't that funny now he's my dad and I love him" he smiles widely she noticed he mentioned a bus.

A bus was used to go places maybe she could use one to get out of town when the time was right her finger tips rub over the stitch on her arm Nathan patched up. It was still sore but at least she felt a lot better overall she could feel her powers where still surging through her.

Normal people didn't have the abilities she had it was like in that Harry Potter book they were muggles which was another reason for her to leave "Do you know how to get to the bus station?" she didn't know why she even asked of course he wouldn't he was just a kid. He grins full of mischief "I'll tell you if you tell me your name" she raised a brow realizing she hasn't even introduced her new name "I'm Trixe" that wasn't to hard though she was so used to just calling herself experiment 5475.

That wasn't her name anymore now she had a real name "It's right down the road you get to the red stop sign and turn left. There will be a blue bench to sit and wait on other people usually sit there it costs five dollars to get to the park" dang this kid was pretty smart or at least observant.

The blonde woman next door opens her door not seeing her son in their front yard looking left and right. Finding him talking to her she runs down the steps out the front gates towards them "Garrett I told you not to leave the yard! I'm so sorry about him I hope he didn't bother you to much" she reaches them standing beside Garrett patting his curly hair.

He looked up at her annoyed "I wanted to ride my bike on the sidewalk mom" she sighs shaking her head leaning down to look at him "How about when your dad gets home with the pizza. After we eat we can all go to the park together" he smiles widely beginning to ride his bike back towards his house. He looked back waving in her direction she gave a small smile sending one back.

The woman puts her hands on her hips letting out a sigh "That boy will be the death of me again I hope he wasn't to much trouble. He's a very umm extroverted kid" that seemed like a big understatement. This seemed like something the kid did often it was probably tiring keeping him out of trouble "It's fine he's a nice kid" sure he talked alot but overall he seemed nice.

The woman nods wish a smile before sticking out her hand "I'm Kimberly that was my son Garrett and my husband Ryan will be back with a large Pepperoni pizza in a few minutes. I would love if you joined us" Trixe shakes her hand surprised wondering if everyone in this town was as nice as the people she's met this far.

Shaking her head with a grin "I don't know....I don't want to be in your way or any trouble" Kimberly waves her off with a grin "It's no trouble it's the least I can do for my son bothering you. Please join us there will be more then enough pizza" Trixe knew this probably wasn't the best idea she wasn't supposed to be making friends with the neighbors and sticking around.

It would just make it harder to leave when it was time, but for now she could at least pretend her life was normal "Ok..." Kimberly grins walking towards her house Trixe followed slowly behind her.
