Yharnam, a town on the brink of destruction as the plauge has wiped out most residents. Those that were still alive are trapped within their own homes. Though, some decided that they had enough of these wretched beast, they were known as hunters. However, most did not care for hunters and were both hated and feared by the public. However, their effectiveness cannot be denied and are always called when the churches need someone to "clean their messes." Then one day, the churches mess was to wide spread and led to what we call "The Hunt."
When that day came, a new hunter had joined the fray. At first, most would assume he was just a weakling and wouldn't get far. That was until the death of the Cleric Beast and then later Father Gascoigne. After that, he had begun the purifying of our lands, killing all the beast that had decided to get in his way. Then, the Blood Moon had risen, but that didn't stop the hunter. He continued his hunt slaughtering all of those eldritch horrors and beasts, until finally he had killed every beast and nihtmare. With this he had finally got to the end of his journey.
When he had returned to the hunters dream, the workshop had been set a blaze. For a moment, he felt a tinge of sadness seeing the place he called home, gone in an instant. Luckily, the one person who had shown him kindness and had helped him get this far was still safe. She was a doll, brought to life by the first hunters deal in exchange for his services.
POV of Unamed Hunter
U/H: "Hello Doll, nice to see you again."
Doll: "Hello Good Hunter, it is nice to see you again too. Though, as you can see, the workshop has unfortunately been destroyed.
U/H: "It would seem so. Might I ask, where is Gherman?"
Doll: "Out in the garden, he said he would like to talk to you in private."
U/H: "Thank you again Doll, but may I make a request?"
Doll: "What is it, Good Hunter?"
U/H: "Could you please use my real name, being referred to as the 'Good Hunter' is getting quite annoying, besides, you treated me with kindness and I would like it if you called me by it."
Doll: "Alright, would Thomas suffice?"
U/H: "Yes, now I will go talk to Gherman. When I come back, I'll help with the clean up."
Doll: "Yes, Mr. Thomas."
After this, Thomas had left for the garden. To be honest, the garden was very beautiful, but it had a very ominous feeling. Thomas looked for Gherman and had found him under the giant tree. Thomas decided to approach.
Thomas: "Hello Gherman, Doll said you wanted to talk."
Gherman: "Yes, my dear boy. I'll get straight to the point. I want to set you free from this place. It is as simple as that, you have done your part and had helped with cleaning up the churches mess. Although, even after killing those beasts, you are only one man, you can't always win every battle and this is why I want to make this deal."
Thomas: "So, you want to set me free? Hmmm... It is a tempting offer, but I'm afraid I will have to decline your offer."
Gherman: "Pity, but I'm afraid I can't let you do that. Tonight, Gherman joins the hunt..."
Thomas's POV:
I watch as Gherman slowly rises from his seat, grabbing his Burial Blade. I then grip on to Ludwig's Holy Blade and pistol. Then our duel had begun. He charged at me with his scythe, as he slashed down, I pulled the trigger and Bang! Gherman had been stunned, I quickly followed up my strike by plunging my blade through his stomach and quickly ripped it back out.
