A Hunter's Aura

Thomas's POV:

I was sleeping comfortably in my hotel room, laying on the bed. It was soft, had blankets, and it even had a device to cool the room. Honestly, I may become to soft in this new world.

Moon Presence: "Hey, wake up. We got things to do today."

Thomas: "Just 5 more minutes, I'm still stuck to the bed."

Moon Presence: "No, we gotta do it. Once we're done, you'll see why I wanted you to get up.)

Thomas: "(Sigh) Fine. What are we doing today?"

Moon Presence: "I'm gonna help you get an edge in this world. We're gonna go unlock your aura."

Thomas: "Why?"

Moon Presence: "You can never be too careful here in the waking world. Remember the bullhead you were in?"

Thomas: "True. I wonder, what was that thing?"

Moon Presence: "Not sure. I don't spend much time outside of the dream."

Thomas: "Alright. Where do I need to go?"

Moon Presence: "We're gonna go look for someone that can unlock your aura."

Thomas: "What about my semblance?"

Moon Presence: "Thats the thing, I attached your semblance to the aura. The reason I did that is because I'm still to weak after our fight and couldn't give it to you immediately."

Thomas: "Makes sense."

Moon Presence: "Good, now get up and head into town. I'd suggest the commercial area for two reasons. One, you can probably find someone there to unlock your aura..."

Thomas: "Ok, what's reasons two?"

Moon Presence: "Well, you don't exactly fit in, so we need to get you some better clothes."

Thomas: "True."

I then get up from the bed and begin to put on my boots, gloves, hat, and mask. I then begin to get a small thought, are there any more gods like the Moon Presence?

Thomas: "Hey, I've just thought of something. Are there an more gods like you?"

Moon Presence: "Hmm, oh yeah, definitely. There are the gods of light and darkness here, there's me and Ebrietas in the dream, there's also one more, I think his name is Rher. I don't know what he's up to since everyone decided to leave him be. There's more, but it'll take forever to name them all."

I then got up and left the hotel room. It was cloudy today bur it should be fine. I walked down the stairs and gave the keycard back to the receptionist. She, like everyone else, was wary of me and tried avoiding me.

After I finally turned in the keycard, I began to walk to the commercial district in Vale. Turns out, I was here before when I left those woods and stopped that robbery. I wonder though, why were they stealing dust?

Moon Presence: "Something on your mind Thomas?"

Thomas: "It's about the robbery from last night, I'm wondering why they're stealing dust."

Moon Presence: "Oh, I can tell you. Dust isn't what you're thinking, in this world, dust is their gunpowder. It even has some variations with different effects."

Thomas: "Like?"

Moon Presence: "I don't know much, but I do know there is an incendiary and electric type of dust."

Thomas: "If so, then my question still stands, why are they stealing it? A normal robbery is usually for lien, right?"

Moon Presence: "Now that is something I don't know. Though, you should pay attention, we're near the clothes store."
