Thomas's POV:
Another day...
Another day and I'm stuck in my own bed, Maria holding me in place as she sleeps. She's been clingy ever since she came to the waking world, refusing to let me go. Not that im against it, I'm more than happy to sleep by her. The problem is that I can't run my store if I'm stuck in bed. Then, the Moon Presence appears.
Moon Presence: "Still stuck I see."
Thomas: "It's not like I can escape. She's so much more stronger then me. Why is that?"
Moon Presence: "Not sure, maybe it's because she's based on her original counterpart?"
Thomas: "You don't mean-"
Moon Presence: "Maria may have the same strength as LADY Maria."
I look at her, a little more terrified by this new revelation. I had died so many times to Lady Maria that I had gone on a small crusade through Castle Cainhurst to get more blood echoes, even killing Martyr Logarius. After that, I went back to that Astral Clocktower, and barely survive her. Though, it didn't feel like I won. All of those damn blood echoes, all wasted on blood vials.
I then looked back at her. She was still asleep, peaceful and beautiful. I look at her hands, they were still around my arm. I begin to slowly pull out, slowly getting out of her iron grip. Finally, I am freed from her once again. I then get out of bed, slowly as to not wake her. I then looked back to the Moon Presence.
Thomas: "How's the shop?"
Moon Presence: "Nothing bad... yet."
Thomas: "Yet?"
Moon Presence: "Yes. I saw some people looking into the store, discussing if this 'is a good hit'."
Thomas: "What was the response?"
Moon Presence: "It was a yes."
I then go downstairs, looking at my stock. A lot of bullets, some delayed molotovs, some lanterns, and some oil pots. It's not much, but for some low lifes, this is a jackpot. Though, who's dumb enough to rob a man that sells ammunition and explosives? It's obvious that the owner probably has a gun.
Thomas: "Anything I should look out for? Any defining features?"
Moon Presence: "They're apart of race known as Faunaus in this world. Basically, they are human animal hybrids. Ever notice them when going down the street?"
Thomas: "No, not really. There were only a few I noticed and they were on the street, homeless."
Moon Presence: "Thats how some are, others are more... criminal then others. Now that I remember, there was that group running around here. Pretty big group actually."
Thomas: "Really? What are they called?"
Moon Presence: "The White Fang. All I can get is that they used to be a good pro-faunaus faction, which later turned into a extremist group."
I look at him, wanting more info.
Thomas: "Explain."
Moon Presence: "Like I said, I only know so much of this world. The only reason I know this is because of a news report on a newspaper."
Thomas: "Aren't you an all seeing god?"
Moon Presence: "Aren't you a mortal that almost killed said god?"
Thomas: "... Touché."
I then begin to clean up around my shop, sweeping out the dust and take down most of the cob webs. The Moon Presence looks at me, clearly confused.
