Owner's POV:

I sat in my chair, behind the counter reading a newspaper. It's been days since that man had come to Mistral and left just as fast. Even with his short time here, he had affected all of Mistral, leaving ripples of his actions throughout the city. I then look at my newest employee, Simon Palmer. Turns out, he needed to work since he had lost his "products" to that man, and I just so happened that I needed a janitor. He's not the best, but he does put in a good effort.

Owner: "Hey, Simon."

Simon: "Yes Mr. Werner?"

Rex: "Seriously? I told you before, I don't like to be called that. I just want you to call me Rex."

Simon: "Sorry, force of habit. Anyways, what did you wanna ask?"

Rex: "Listen, I need you to go down to the general store and pick me up some air fresheners and laundry detergent. The rooms are starting to reek from everyone coming in and going out with their booty calls."

Simon: "Sure Rex, any kind will do?"

Rex: "The value brand should be just fine."

Simon: "Ok, I'll go get it."

Simon then finished cleaning up and left.

Simon's POV:

I walked down the street, the hustle and bustle of the town for all to see. Though, it wasn't long before I heard the sirens. The police went past me, going further and further into Mistral. Ever since that... "Man" appeared, nothing but trouble has been turning up in Mistral. With the Brawhen Tribe going dark, a huge power vacuum was left behind.

With this huge power vacuum came multiple violent crimes and turf wars between many of the other criminal factions in Mistral. Each one wanted a piece of that Brawhen pie and were willing to fight for it. With that, more and more police patrols have been going on, which in turn led to less crime. No more drug deals in the open, no more beatings in the open, no more robberies of gas stations or corner stores.

However, like I was saying, it wasn't all good. I was left out of a good gig because of the risks of selling now. The only reason I'm able to live now is cause Rex was willing to hire me. At first, I was just trying to earn the money to pay back my supplier. Now though, I'm just trying to get rent! My supplier was busted and arrested when the police activity spiked! You know what? It was all his fault! If he never showed up, I would still be making a decent living!

...

I then breathed in.... And breathed out....

Even with all the bad that's been made by him, there was some good. I don't have to worry about getting robbed, I'm now out of a bad business, and finally, he got rid of the Brawhen Tribe... That.... Was a very good thing. The Brawhen's were merciless, raiding and robbing caravans, towns, and people. Hell, some didn't even survive those attacks. With them gone, people can start rebuilding and take back what they've lost. Or, at least go back home after a long while.

I then found myself in front of the general store. What did Rex need again?

....

Uh, cleaning supplies.... No, not that.... Detergent? Yeah, detergent and.... Ah, air fresheners. Yeah, that sounds right. He also did say that the value brand was fine too. I then went inside. It was a small store, not to far from the Rustic Stop, and practically had all I needed. As I went in, I saw that the shop owner wasn't at the front as usual. He must be in the back, counting his money again. I then went through the aisles, heading to the laundry area and grabbing the detergent I needed. I then moved to the aisle right next to it, which had all the air fresheners I needed. Though, I was having a hard time choosing. One smelt like cinnamon, one like lavender, and one that was just a bunch of wild flowers.
