Thomas's POV:

I began to awaken from the dream, while I was doing so, I felt someone in my bed. It was the Doll, or should I say Maria. Anyways, Maria was beside me, sleeping while holding my arm. She always looked so graceful when she was moving about, but now, she looked cute.

I then gently shook Maria, trying to wake her up.

Maria: "Mmmm...."

Thomas: "Maria, wake up."

Maria: "No. Let me sleep a bit Thomas, it feels great."

Heh, the first day she is a human, she decides to waste it by sleeping. Eh, I'll leave her be, she really enjoys it. Now then, time to get breakfast. I then got up from the bed, leaving Maria to sleep.

I then leave the shop, today is the day I open, but I want to eat before that. I then went down stairs and left the shop. It should be fine to leave Maria for a little bit. Besides, she may be hungry when she wakes up.

I then begin to walk down the sidewalk a bit. People aren't avoiding me now, mostly because of the casual clothes. After walking, I found a restaurant that was selling breakfast. I then ordered some biscuits and chicken.

While I wait for my food, I begin to think about my shop. Right now, I know what I gotta sell. Firstly is bullets, now I'm not saying to sell these willy nilly and potentially make a criminal more deadly. So, I'll need to sell the standard ammo here in the waking world.

Before I go on, I look up and see a device. I've seen it at the hotel before, it's a TV. Right now, it was displaying footage of that school, Beacon, and about its hunters and huntresses. Honestly speaking though, they look weak. There was only one I thought was strong and it's their newest transfer, Pyrrha Nikos.

From what I've seen mentioned on the TV, she's a very strong fighter. Maybe not on par with me, but she is the closest. I then heard my name, it seems my food has been made.

Thomas: "Thank you miss."

Cashier: "It's no problem, have a nice day."

As I grabbed the box, I felt like I was being watched by someone. I looked around but found no one, just a crow. Eh, maybe it's just a response from being in Yharnam for so long. Right now though, Maria is probably awake and wondering where I am now.

I then leave to the shop.

Qrow's POV:

I was finally back in Vale, it's been to long. I wish I could've relaxed a bit, but I have to search for that guy. With how big Vale is, it'll take forever to find him. I then began my search. I had began flying throughout Vale.

After a while, I had no luck finding him. All I know is, is that he is in Vale and was involved with one of my niece's. Even though she doesn't know him, he still saved her from getting blasted by a ball of fire. For now though, I should rest a bit and maybe get something to eat.

I then landed on a roof next to a restaurant. It seemed to be selling breakfast, so that meant I could at least get something good. I then noticed some guy, he had a hoodie on which covered his face. Though, he wasn't acting strange or doing anything suspicious, but I felt something when I saw him. Maybe it's because  hungry, yeah, that's probably it.

Thomas's POV:

After seeing that strange crow, I began to walk back home. Maria was probably lonely and I'm sure she's hungry. It is her first day being human, so I'll need to make her a fake ID so she'll be considered a person in the system. I then get to the store, but I feel a little scared now. I'm not sure why, but I feel like I'm about to be devoured by a Cleric Beast.
