"I BOUGHT US MATCHING BRAS!" Suzuki announced as you tied your tennis shoes. Your face contorted in bewilderment and disgust, before you could respond she started talking again. "Not weird! Everybody got matching shirts. I just wanted us to be extra unique so we get matching bras. Put. It. On." She finished tossing a bag at you hitting your face since you didn't catch it.

You watched the bag fall to the ground and the sound of several trinkets shuffled around inside. "Come on! I'm wearing mine." Suzuki said lifting up her matching shirt and flashing the bra to you. It was a simple pink sports bra with a small bow in the middle of it. You had to admit it looked cute, something you could potentially wear, but why did she get matching bras..

Suzuki dropped the practice shirt down and pointed to the restroom, "Go change."

Brudently you picked up the bag and went. Something you learned in the past few days of being Suzuki's friend is that she doesn't really take no for an answer. Quickly changing into the sports bra and matching shirt, you handed the bag back to her and she gave you a puzzled look.

"What? Those are yours?" She says shoving the bag back into your hand. "Small little gifts from me!"

Before you could say anything, she moved past you and headed out the door, not before calling back, "Hurry up! Coaches are waiting."

You stood in silence staring down at the bag. She got you... gifts? It was strange, you've never really gotten any gifts from friends. Only your brothers. There was a little flutter in your heart at the idea that Suzuki considered you an actual friend. At first, you thought she was just befriending you because she saw you as competition and you know the saying 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer' but it seemed like she actually truly meant it.

Tossing the bag onto your futon you grabbed your bag and headed out the door as well.

"Keiko! Go now! Stop hesitating." Coach Sata screamed at your middle blocker who had made the approach to go hit but closed in on the setter, Yumi. In return she had to set it straight to you, thankfully you were up and ready, the ball made contact with your hand and you sent it straight down on the other side of the court. It was an easy kill since the blockers from the other team were coming down from blocking Keiko.

The whistle was blown and your team got a point on the scoreboard. As Keiko landed she stumbled a bit, glaring at you before turning to talk to Yumi.

"I was right there! Why didn't you set me!?"

"Keiko you were all up on me! What was I supposed to do? If I had given you the ball you wouldn't have gotten it over." Yumi argued, "I did what any other setter would have done. I gave the ball to my ace—who I know would get the ball over."
