Author's POV 📌
"This was bound to happen, glad that he knows everything I want him to know. He'll be mine once I get rid of that scoundrel, so that he won't suffer again like that." A guy in black suit, sitting on a royal black chair; enjoying the fidget spinner in his finger said to one of his men.
"Sure, Majesty." He bowed at the sitting figure folding himself proper 90 degree which was clearly not in the focus of that guy.

THE MAFIA3 days Ago...
"Are you mad! Why did you fire him all of a sudden?" Mark exclaimed.
"You don't have to know everything, Mark. And because of you, I've already dealt a lot with him. It's enough now, we don't need him anymore." I said avoiding his eyes.
"Something is definitely wrong. What are you hiding, Gem." Mark grabbed my Shoulder gently and was squeezing it assuringly.
"You don't want to know, leave it." I grabbed a chair and turned towards the window.
Mark left without saying anything more. My whole day spent staring at the sky, something really weird, really awkward was happening with me. I called Mark again.
He came at the evening.
"Are you ready to talk now?" He asked gently.
"I am, let's go to my place... I need something to drink." I took my coat from the couch and walked out of the cabin, Mark followed me. We reached my house in no time.
Mark went towards the Drink cabinet and bought the 70 years old purple coloured vodka, which I mistook as a wine. He placed it on the table in front of me and bought 2 glasses.
"You know how expensive this is? Keep it back bro." I said in a sarcastic tone.
"That's why I placed it in front of you, you need this one today." He opened the bottle and pour the drink in my glass first. Then he grabbed his and poured it in a really little amount.
"Seriously?" I asked, my eyes on him.
"Yeah, I have to go back home by driving." He said and started taking a sip from his glass. I took mine and had a sip too. It was weird, the wine had a bitter taste, it wasn't like a wine at all. I looked at Mark. He was smiling.
"This isn't wine, right?" I asked him normally.
"It's vodka... No difference chill." He took another sip from his glass and it was already empty.
"You know that I don't like vodka. And how did that came in my cabinet?" I asked.
"I bought it and placed it in your cabinet, why? Can't I keep what's mine in your house?" He said laughing at his own sentence.
"You can... But don't give it to me, I already feel tipsy by one sip. You know I can't handle vodka..." I was already feeling drunk but I couldn't let him see that.
Suddenly Fourth appeared at the door. His eyes were completely on me, that made me feel weird, really weird. It was a most unusual feeling I was having at the moment. It felt like I have stabbed my heart with my own hands and it is still pumping inside me.
I couldn't hear what he said, I couldn't hear what Mark said but what I noticed was that... He was coming to me... Closer to me... So close...
I was so drunk that I don't know what I did, anything, it's all a faded memory now.
