Chapter 15: The Author

"We don't need him in the company anymore."

"Oh." Fourth said silently.

"Khun Boss. Did he do something wrong?" Namtan pressed her hand over Fourth's shoulder. Fourth shook his head down and didn't say anything.

"He... No, he didn't. But you know that we took him as my manager because I was injured. Since I'm back completely...." Gemini looked at Fourth, he was still silent and wasn't looking at us.

"I think we don't-"

"Excuse me." Fourth spoke and left without saying a word.

Namtan was looking at Fourth's back figure as he was disappearing from the door. She was emotional but her professionalism was holding her back.

"Khun Namtan. You can go now." Gemini took a file from the desk and started turning pages without looking at her.

Namtan stood up and bowed at him. She left while grabbing her tablet from the table. As soon as she crossed the cabin's door, she ran to find Fourth but he wasn't visible anywhere. She went to look for him everywhere in the office from the 10th floor, the top floor of the office to the ground floor. Fourth was nowhere to be found.

Namtan was becoming more and more tensed by each passing second. She grabbed her phone from her side purse and placed a call to Luke.

"Luke, I.... I can't find Fourth anywhere, Luke..... What should I do.... Where should I find him.... I'm so worried." Her breath hitched after every word she was speaking. Tears were running down her eyes continuously.

"The last time he disappeared like this was the time when he lost her real sister, Luke. What should I do now?" She was sobbing continuously.

"Have you called him yet?" Luke asked.

"He left his phone on the table in front of me." She said.

"Don't worry Tan, I'll do something." He said and hung the call.

Namtan was still running here and there trying to find him. It was evening now, but still no traces of Fourth. Namtan went to all the places where he usually goes when he is sad, or frustrated but she couldn't find him.

Finally she came home and....

She found Fourth laying on a couch. "What the fuck, Fourth!" She ran towards him and hugged him while he was still sleeping.

She hit on his chest twice and made him wake up. "Are you stupid? Who disappears like that? You didn't felt the need to let me know that you are going home huh?" She hit him again. "I hate you."

"Ouch, stop hitting me Je." Fourth woke up and he straightened his posture.

"I'll hit you more! " She grabbed a pillow from another couch and started hitting him. Fourth smiled and made funny noises while being beaten up by his beloved sister.

"Okay, okay. Now that hurts Je. Please, listen to me once." She stopped and started breathing heavily.

"See, even you are exhausted."

"I'm not! Disappear like this again and see me killing you." She said rested her back on the couch.

"How are you gonna find me if I disappeared?" He laughed and Namtan hit him again on his chest.

"Stop teasing me, you don't know how scared I was when you went out of the door and I couldn't find you anywhere." She said. She moved closer to Fourth and rested her head over his lap.

"You and Luke are my only Family, Fourth. I can't afford to lose any of you. You've done this before too. Please, think of me once and never do it again to me." A tear slipped from her eyes.

Fourth caressed her head and wiped the droplets from her cheeks. "I won't, I promise."

"Are you feeling bad that boss fired you?" She asked.

Fourth sighed. "A little, but I was feeling like I was being used. His sweet talks and stuff. I felt like I was a very good employee to him. I helped him in everything, not just office works but also...."

He paused and didn't speak anything.

"But he fired you... That's the reality, he is THE Gemini Norawit. He only does things which are beneficial for him." Namtan held Fourth's hand and squeezed it gently.

"Leave that topic Fourth, I have something more important to discuss with you."

"Hmm? What is it?"

"Tomorrow is Pear's 9th death anniversary... Will you still won't go to visit her?" She looked at Fourth and waited for him to respond but he was silent too.

Namtan woke up from his lap and started moving towards her bedroom, but before that she turned once and faced him. "You need to accept the reality Fourth.... Don't punish your sister for someone else's wrong doing whom you don't even know if they exist or not."

She turned back and went to her room. Luke came as if he was waiting for Namtan to leave Fourth alone for a while.

"Fourth, don't go if you are still not ready." Luke said by caressing his shoulder.

Fourth broke in tears and couldn't stop sobbing. He held Luke like a baby and hugged him tightly. He wasn't ready to leave him for once and Luke too gave him space to take all of his emotions out.

"You can stop crying when you feel at ease okay? Cry all you want. I'm your brother, I can see you weak for once in a while." Luke kept caressing his head and back.

"Luke... I won't do the rituals and won't let anyone do the rituals of my sister until I take my revenge on that bastard who killed her! She deserves to see that person suffer who made her miserable like this. She was a kid... What was her fault that she got killed like that?" Fourth pulled himself back and cleaned his face with his t-shirt sleeves.

"But, don't you think she might be suffering right now? That you didn't go to see her once ever since she left this world for a better ending?" Luke asked him, he had tears in his eyes too.

"She is suffering but she'll see that better ending here! In this world. And after that she can live with peace in her afterlife." He got up from that couch and went out of his house.

"Where are you going, Fourth?" Luke asked.

"To meet that bastard."
