Three hours ago...

Waking up to lots of phone alerts early in the morning is the worst! I'll stand by that statement forever.

I rubbed my sleepy eyes, searching for my glasses on the bedside table. After putting them on, I checked my phone to see what all the fuss was about. What can even happen this time since I didn't do anything to drag Gemini or any other big shot down these days.

The Divine Fashion Company announced a new partner in a private party?

The CEO, Mr. NORAWIT Titichareonrak, was rumored to be dating someone new, face is yet to be revealed?

"Wtf is going on?" My annoyance woke me up faster than coffee. Waking up to mobile notifications is one thing but being the reason behind the notifications pisses me off more! I supported my back on the headboard of the bed.

Pear, wearing a black t-shirt and beige pants, approached me. She knocked on the door pretending like she wasn't already inside my room.

"You seem more annoyed than usual. What's up?" She asked, stepping closer to the bed.

"Please tell me you knew about this." I sounded annoyed, but I needed answers. And, since it was related to Gemini. I'm pretty much sure that Pear is well aware of the situation.

"Well, I won't know until you spill the beans." She guided me to a chair by the window. Forcing me to sit and breathe out.

"Pear, I'm talking about the headlines."

"Oh, that. Yeah, I know. Phi Mark called an hour ago." She sat facing me.

"You didn't know about this before?" I asked, trying to keep calm.

"Before? As in... When?" She asked scratching the back of her head.

"Yesterday, about the partnership."

"Nope, I was just as surprised as you. And you being his partner is new to me too. He doesn't usually share stuff, especially about his company."

"So... What am I supposed to do now?"

"You'll have to figure that out. I'm off to see him. Bye!" She winked and left.

I wasn't prepared for him to announce this yesterday at the party. Even though I technically already own his whole company without him knowing, making it official at a press conference was a bold move.

A strange feeling washed over me. Something didn't feel right about him being so careless with the company he worked so hard to build.

After freshening up, I returned to the living room in comfy clothes, feeling nervous. What would people think when they saw the news? What about my friends?

My phone chimed at the perfect time, with a message from my friends' group chat.

Satang: "You've seen the news, right?"
