I sat there, trapped, as Mark loomed over me. digging the punch ring into my shoulders. "What? Were you expecting someone else?" he taunted.

Ford, standing nearby, shrugged and dropped the weapon he had been using to torture Gemini. "Oh, Mark, you just spoiled everything... Bastard." he muttered.

Mark glared at Ford. "Don't you dare lay a finger on him." Ford stepped back. intimidated.

I spat at Mark. "What else can I expect? When someone like Ford can be a bitch... you can't be any better. Mark." I locked eyes with him, my gaze was full of anger. He smirked.

"And do you know how much I missed this? This look in your eyes, this look of disgust."

"Mark..." Gemini whispered weakly from his place on the bed.

Mark ignored him completely, acting as if Gemini didn't exist.

"Gemini..." I said, tears forming up as I watched him struggle to get up, using his shaky hands for support. He slipped and hit his back hard on the metal bed.

"Gemini!" I tried to rise from the chair, but Mark stabbed the punch ring into my neck, making me bleed heavily.

"You can move only when I tell you to move." he commanded, pulling the punch ring out roughly, making me scream.

"Mark!" Gemini shouted with all the strength he could muster.

"Shut up, bitch," Mark snapped, turning to glare at him. "Stop shouting."

I clutched my bleeding neck. "Mark, why the hell are you doing this?" My vision blurred, shaking and being at the edge of passing out.

I fumbled to touch my ears, searching for the device I always wore.

"That won't help." Mark said, pulling my hands back onto the chair. "So stop hurting yourself."

"I removed it." Ford added from behind, smirking sadistically.

"If I survive this. Ford, you'll be the first person I kill. Mark my words." I said, rage boiling within me.

"You will survive. Fourth. Only you will. But sadly, you won't be able to kill anyone." Mark said, grabbing my chin and forcing me to look at him.

I shoved his hand away. "Don't you dare touch me."

"Get used to my touch, Fourth. I'll be the only person you'll ever be able to touch." He grabbed my jaw, digging his nails into my skin.

"What the hell! Mark, leave him alone!" Gemini stood up on his trembling legs. But as he approached. Ford struck him with a bat, and he collapsed, hitting his head on the floor.

I couldn't move. Mark had completely caged me, smirking as he saw my eyes fill with tears at the sight of Gemini.

"If you think I'm brutal, please believe me, it's all for you." Mark said, running his fingers over my face, each touch a burning sensation of disgust.

"Mark, leave him," Gemini pleaded, trying to rise from the floor.

"I hate that everything I ever wanted is connected to you," Mark said he went towards Gemini , pulling his hair in a fist and making him look into his eyes.

"Mark, you've taken care of me since my parents died. Please. I love you more than family! Stop all this. Mark. Please." Gemini begged, tears streaming down his face.

It was the second time I'd seen him cry, and once again, it was because of Mark. The space Mark occupied in Gemini's heart was more than anyone else ever could. Mark was Gemini's only family, the person who had been with him through all the worst and best times of his life.
