Grace's POV
I reached the deck and placed my bicycle near the security guard's cabin.
"Può per favore vegliare su questo signore?" I asked, worrying if what I said made sense.
"Certo nessun problema." he responded with a smile. Okay it did!
"Sai dov'è la barca della famiglia Beto?"
"Sì, cammina verso lo yacht grigio laggiù e gira a destra, è il terzo." Shit that was a lot of Italian for my brain to process so fast. If I am not wrong he said near the grey yacht.
"Va bene, grazie." I said and smiled.
"Buona giornata." he said and waved.
Okay maybe my Italian isn't so bad.
I reached the grey yacht and looked towards the right and saw 3 boys standing on a white yacht and getting it ready to set sail. I walked towards it and saw it was the boys.
"What the..." I was stunned, he said boat. This is a freaking yacht!
"Hey Grace!" Elio waved.
"Hey."
"So how to you like it?" motioning at the yacht.
"It's a yacht."
"So you can identify things, good for you." 'Dusk' said.
I made a face towards him and I looked back at Elio, "I thought we were going for a boat ride."
"Yeah we are." Jeremey said.
"This is a yacht."
"Yacht-boat same thing." Jeremy brushed it off.
I rolled my eyes and got on the yacht. "Do you guys know how to sail?"
"Yeah apparently Dusk's dad has taught him and Jeremey last week." Elio said.
"Mate." 'Dusk' said, putting a hand over his heart. "You called me Dusk without having to kick your leg." batting his eyes.
"Yeahhh, it has kinda grown on me." Elio chuckled.
I rolled my eyes again.
After a bit of hustle we set sail to Capri Coast. The sun was shining brightly and the breeze was cool, it sure was a perfect day for sailing. Jeremey and Elio were at the pulpit recreating Titanic Jack and Rose scene. Typical idiots, I laughed. I was with 'Dusk' at the wheel.
"So you dad sails huh?" I asked.
"Yeah, it's like a family thing. My granddad taught him and then he me." So he is super rich.
"Aww that's nice. So is this yacht your family's?"
"Yeah."
"Ohh, then how did the security guard-" before I could finish he cut me off.
"We used my uncle's name to dock there." I was even more confused and I just stared at him, he saw me and laughed, then continued, "My uncle meaning Paulo, my aunt married Paulo, my aunt who is my dad's sister."
"Ohhh okay okay."
"Yeah."
"How did they meet?"
"It's a long story. Paulo and my dad have been friends since their undergrad, it seems he has had the hots for my aunt since then but never really did anything about it during their college days. After graduation he came back to Italy and started working here but he stayed in touch with my aunt. Unfortunately after a while my aunt was arranged to get married to one of my granddad's business relations son, she told Paulo about it but he was a bit insecure about his financial state and background comparing to my family's so he didn't step up and she got pissed and out of spite got married. Paulo was heartbroken but he worked hard to make a name for himself and he did overtime. Obviously my aunt's marriage didn't last and she got divorced 4 years ago. When Paulo heard of this he reached out to her again, they took things slow. And when the time came he went to my granddad and asked for her hand in marriage, and my granddad was impressed to say the least. And here we all are now."
