Luffy's life was just like any other ordinary kid's life. He wasn't a prodigy in any field, but he was content with his abilities. He was adopted and he knew that he wasn't a true member of the Akagami family, but that never made him feel inferior.

Luffy's siblings; Uta, Sabo, and Ace, were all accomplished in their own ways. His sister was a talented musician and, both his brothers, Ace and Sabo, were famous models. However, Luffy never felt inferior to them. He knew that he was enough and that was all that mattered to him.

But despite his self-assuredness, Luffy's adoptive father, Shanks, never acknowledged his achievements. He would always praise and boast about his other children, but Luffy was always left out. Shanks would proudly display pictures, certificates, and medals of his other children, but Luffy's awards were never put up.

Once, Luffy showed Shanks a certificate he won, but it still wasn't hung up. So Luffy kept his trophies, certificates, and medals in a drawer, away from his father's prying eyes.

Luffy didn't have many friends. He used to have two friends when he was younger, but they moved away. However, they still kept in touch. Anyone else who tried to befriend him did so for all the wrong reasons.

If any of his siblings didn't show up, people would only ask about them, never about him. He never heard anyone ask him, "How are you, Luffy?" or "How was your day, Luffy?" Instead, it was always about his siblings. "How's Ace?" or "Where's Uta?" or "Is Sabo okay?"

Despite all this, Luffy loved his siblings and Shanks. However, he always felt like he didn't belong. Luffy had a journal where he documented his feelings and thoughts. It made him feel validated and loved. The names 'Law' and 'Kassandra' were special to him, and they made his heart feel all warm and fuzzy.

Luffy's first encounter with Law and Kassandra was an unexpected twist of fate on a bustling city street. He was wandering aimlessly, feeling a bit lost in the crowd, when he noticed a commotion up ahead. Curious, he made his way through the throng of people, his curiosity piqued by the gathering.

As he pushed through the crowd, Luffy caught sight of Law, a stoic figure amidst the chaos, and Kassandra, a whirlwind of energy and laughter beside him. They seemed to radiate an aura of confidence and camaraderie that drew Luffy in, sparking his curiosity and igniting a sense of intrigue.

Before he knew it, Luffy found himself caught up in their orbit, drawn into their circle with a warmth and acceptance he had never experienced before. As they exchanged introductions and shared stories, Luffy felt an instant connection with Law and Kassandra, as if they were kindred spirits who had been waiting to cross paths.

In Law, Luffy found not only a boyfriend but a partner who accepted him unconditionally, flaws and all. And in Kassandra, he found a sister in everything but blood—a constant source of love, support, and laughter, whose presence enriched his life in ways he could never have anticipated.

More names were to come, and he loved each one of them dearly. They were always there for him, loving and accepting him for who he was. However, he couldn't help but wonder why they had to leave him. Law and Kassandra were his only friends, and they always made time to chat with him, regardless of when or where. They didn't judge him based on his family background but loved him for his true self.

Luffy's heart swelled with anticipation and an overwhelming mix of emotions as he received a text message from both Kassie and Law. The message informed him of their permanent return to town, which filled him with joy, relief, and a sense of belonging.
