After Old South Pittsburg Hospital, we have a few days of break, but it isn't entirely relaxing.

Since Travel Channel has a headquarters in Knoxville, we take a day to film the opening sequence of the show. A makeup artist and stylist make me up, dress me, and then I'm off to film my exhilarating point-five second intro where I'm just walking dramatically. Tanner and I then film a segment that will go into the first episode, where we basically talk about how we know each other and what we're expecting for the trip. The day actually takes Dakota away from us the most, but honestly, after what he's already put me through, I'm kind of thankful for the separation.

When we finish with all of that, we thankfully stop over at another hotel to get a night of actual sleep. I take advantage of everything my hotel room has to offer, especially the shower. I wash my hair like a professional, but don't style it since I've been using a lot of heat on it in the last few days.

We load up into the RV the following morning and stop off at a grocery store as well to pick up some food. By midday, we're headed to our next location, and then we stop off at yet another hotel. We're somewhere in West Virginia, and when morning comes, it's back to business. I take a nice, long shower again and get dressed quickly, opting for a red oversized lightweight long sleeve shirt, a pair of leggings, and my white Converse. I straighten my hair, tucking it behind my ears, and my makeup is the same as it usually is.

Once we get into the RV, we stop at a coffee shop. Dakota splits from us to go and talk to the camera about where we'll be heading while Tanner and I find ourselves some breakfast.

"Here we are," I say as we walk up to the Radford Coffee Co.

Alex is behind us, filming, and Tanner opens the door for me. I step inside, thanking him, and we order our drinks and breakfast.

Once we get them, we take a seat on the couch inside, Tanner sighing as he does. "We're not even halfway done," he says to me.

"Not even close to halfway done," I say.

"Are you doing okay?" Tanner asks me, looking over at me. "Like, how are you feeling after two nights of it?"

"I'm not used to being in this type of environment," I remind him. "Like, this is so new to me. Putting myself through, like, adrenaline-consuming—"

"Torture," Tanner pipes up with a laugh.

I chuckle, shaking my head. "Situations," I offer as a better word. "Like . . . "

"Right," he agrees.

"This is totally out of my comfort zone," I conclude.

"No, if you get past this night, this is gonna be an insane personal milestone for you," my cousin tells me.

I smile begrudgingly, taking a sip of my drink. "That gave me a little conf—like—" Tanner raises his fist and I bump it with mine. "I wouldn't say confidence. That gave me, like, motivation."
