It took another day to get our RV back, which ended up being a brand new one. I took advantage of yet another stayover in a hotel, but eventually, it was time to hit the road again. I'm happy, however, that I got the chance to shower in a hotel room again and also do my hair without jostling around and praying I don't burn my neck with my straightener. My hair is wavy today, curled loosely with a straightener. My makeup is the same as it always is, which I figure it best in terms of continuity in the editing of the show. I decide to wear an orange-yellow sweatshirt, a pair of ripped mom jeans, and my white Converse.
Currently, I'm sitting across from Dakota and Tanner at the little kitchen table in the RV while Alex sits on the couch across from us, filming. I have my camera out as do Dakota and Tanner as well.
"Right now, we are heading to Buffalo, New York," Dakota informs us.
Immediately, my mouth drops open and my eyebrows raise. Raising my arms above my head, I shout out gleefully, "New York!" and then I start dancing a bit in my seat, the beat of Taylor Swift's Welcome to New York playing in my head. I'd have sung it, but we kind of can't because of copyright when it comes time to airing the episode. I shake my head, a smile on my face. "I mean, we're so far from where I live, but it's nice being back in my home state. I wonder if I'm going to have heard of this place."
Dakota smiles. "We're going to a location that's unlike anything before," he says. "This will be and is the biggest location we've been to for this entire trip."
"Dang," Tanner chuckles.
"Bigger than three hundred thousand square feet?" I ask, brows pinching.
"We're talking one million square feet," Dakota replies.
My jaw drops.
"Oh, ho, ho!" my cousin belly laughs. "No way."
"One million freaking square feet?" I ask in disbelief. "Where the frick are you taking us?"
"I think there's eighteen floors," Dakota continues.
My eyes widen.
"If we lose walkie connection, we won't hear anybody, won't . . . Oh, my gosh," Tanner points out and I run my fingers over my forehead. "We'll be completely isolated this time."
"Thanks for putting that out there, cous," I mutter sarcastically to Tanner, rolling my eyes as I shake my head. Then, I focus on Dakota. "Eighteen floors . . . that's got to be, like, a hotel or something."
Dakota doesn't say anything, but his lips pull into a frown, as though he was trying to keep a secret in. "Well, we are gonna stop somewhere right now," he says to us, completely ignoring my comment.
Okay, I see you, Dakota.
"Oh, is it huge?" I ask sarcastically.
"It is huge," he replies and I let out a laugh, immediately turning the words into an innuendo. Dakota and Tanner both catch on, laughing as Dakota continues, "It is massive. We're going to the Niagara Falls."
