The Banana man and Baguette man /// [An enemies to lovers story]

Confession [Arc 2]

After the interesting event from our previous chapter, the Banana man and Baguette man were now friends. In fact, they were close friends! They were inseparable and always together. Right now, the Banana man and Baguette man are taking a walk together on the same street they met. Also, more people started to ignore the Banana man's presence instead of running away! The two meeting each other really changed everything for the better.

"Haha! You're so funny, Banana man! Say, how about you come over to my place for dinner?" Asked the Baguette man. "I'd love to!" Replied the Banana man. "Great! See you at 6?" "Sure😇." The Banana man then left to go home and waved goodbye to his friend. Banana man couldn't stop thinking about the dinner. This was the first time he's ever been invited over by someone! Not to mention it was by his greatest, and only friend. He wanted this dinner to be the best he's ever experienced. He also wanted to impress the Baguette man. It was now 5:40. Banana man spent the whole day getting ready and trying to get the best clothes ever. Although it was a bit too early. Banana man thought to himself. Maybe he could buy a gift for the Baguette man? But what should he buy? Well, he is going for dinner after all, maybe he could buy the Baguette man food. The Banana man quickly went to the market, looking for something to buy. Then he found something amazing. It was not only bananas, but also bread. Banana bread. It was perfect! It combined the two things the both of them love! The Banana man bought the banana bread and went back home. With the Banana man wearing the best clothes he owned, and the banana bread surprise in a little basket, he finally left and went to the Baguette man's place.

The Baguette man opened the door to the Banana man. He was stunned because the Banana man looked very handsome. "Mamma mia! You look great! Come in." Said the Baguette man. The Banana man twirled his hair and let himself in. "Oh! By the way I got a little something for you. 🥰" The Banana man gave the Baguette man the basket with the banana bread. The Baguette man opened the basket and smiled widely. "It's perfect.." Said the Baguette man. The Banana man then seated himself down at the table as the Baguette man brought in the food he made. There was spaghetti and meatballs, roasted chicken, cupcakes for dessert and of course, a plate with baguettes with a side of sauce. It seemed like the Baguette man spent a long time prepping this food. Banana man was in awe. "It looks delicious!! Let's eat! 🤤" The two started eating and also chatting about their days. Banana man was stunned when he took a bite of the roasted chicken. "This tastes incredible!! You're an amazing chef, Baguette man." Said the Banana man. The Baguette man blushed. "Jee, thanks, Banana man! .. No one has ever said that to me before." "Why not? Your food is so good! More people should try it, it's delicious." The Banana man replied. "I guess.." Said the Baguette man. The two continued to eat and chat until they both finished eating and it became 7:30. "Today was great. Thanks again for inviting me over!" The Banana man said. "Of course! Thanks for coming, bro. We should do this again another time. :)))" The Banana man waved goodbye to his friend as he left.

Yet again, the Banana man found himself lost in thought about the Baguette man. Today wasn't only great. It was perfect. The Banana man had never experienced something like this before at all. The dinner was so good that the whole night the Banana man just had the Baguette man in his mind. He couldn't stop thinking about him. Wait... This was NOT a platonic feeling. The Banana man had deep thoughts about the Baguette man and they were not things you'd normally think about of your friends.. Could it be.. love?? 😱 The Banana man stood up and quickly sprinted to his bathroom and then looked at himself in the mirror. "Oh my god... I think I'm in love." The Banana man said to himself as he looked in the mirror. I mean.. The Banana man always thought that the Baguette man was very handsome and cute. But what would the Baguette man think? What if he doesn't like him back? What if this confession could completely ruin their friendship?? The Banana man had to bear these thoughts for the whole night.

It was now morning. The Banana man couldn't sleep all night as he made the realization that he had feelings for the Baguette man. Who would've thought that a bystander he bumped into and fought with turned out to be his first ever friend, and first love.

The Banana man spent a good 30 minutes planning and thinking on how he should confess to the Baguette man. He wanted to start a relationship with the Baguette man, and today seemed to be a great day to achieve that goal. It was a bright sunny day in June, and the Banana man thought it'd be a great idea to invite the Baguette man to hang out with him in the park or something, and then after hanging out, the Banana man could confess his love for the Baguette man. It's time to put this plan into action.

There was a knock at the door and the Baguette man opened it.

"Aha! Banana man, what a surprise! Great to see you, buddy. What brings you here?" The Baguette man said as he saw the Banana man standing in front of him.

The Banana man slightly blushed embarrassedly but he tried being confident and said, "Hey hey! Well.. I was just wondering if you'd want to.. Hang out? Similar to yesterday kind of!"

The Baguette man smiled. "Of course! Where to?"

The Banana man was relieved the Baguette man accepted. "I was thinking about the park?" "Sure. Lets-a go!"

The two then walked to the public park that was in the center of the neighborhood. It was filled with a few children that were playing on the swings and slides. The two sat on the benches and started chatting. The Banana man loved every moment he had with the Baguette man. Talking to him filled him with unconditional happiness. 10 or so minutes passed and the duo got bored, so they left the park and made their way to a nearby cafe. They ordered a few croissants and coffee and then seated themselves at a table near the window. "Thanks again for paying for the food, bro! You didn't have to y,know.." The Baguette man said as the two were eating their food. The Banana man laughed and said, "Don't worry about it! I want to make sure today will be great, so everything's on me!" The Baguette man smiled and continued eating. "Um.." The Banana said with hesitation." "What is it?" Replied the Baguette man. "After this.. Do you think you could follow me for a sec. I have something important to tell." The Banana man shares.

"Oh, of course!" After finishing their food, the two left and the Baguette man started following the Banana man to the park. It was dark out now, so there was no one at the park.

The Baguette man looked at the Banana man, who seemed to be a little worried looking, and said, "What is it that you wanted to tell me, buddy?"

The Banana man looked the Baguette man in the eyes.

"Ever since we became friends, my life has been a lot better. I enjoy all the time together, but I've realized something.."
The Baguette man looked at the Banana man curiously. "What?"
"I.. I like you. 😖" The Banana man said, now looking down in embarrassment.

The Baguette man was shocked and took some time to process what he heard. But finally, he looked at the Banana man. He was happy. Very happy.

The Baguette man took the Banana man's hands.

"Banana man, I like you too."

The two then looked into each other's eyes and kissed. 😇 [What the fuck am I doing with my life.]

"I've liked you from the start actually.. Even though I was mad at you, I thought you were really cute." The Baguette man said after they kissed.

"Wow.. This is the best day ever!!" The Banana man said and they both went home and slept together.

The Banana man and the Baguette man then lived happily ever after! The end. 😇😇
