~ Banana man's POV (not really but whatever) ~
"What have I done.." Banana man mutters under his breath. He just lost the love of his life, or was it ever his love? He didn't want to ask these questions to himself right now but his brain still couldn't comprehend this tragedy. As his mind was a jumbled mess he heard a silent voice coming from the kitchen. Even though it was pretty quiet, he could definitely tell it was urgent. So out of his mind, he went back to the kitchen. But first, he looked at the bookshelf... If it wasn't for that book to fall, he would have never known this secret affair even happened. He slowly picked it up while dusting off the cover. It said, "What Once Was." An interesting cover at that. He didn't pay too much attention to it so he just set it on the kitchen table which had the once silent voice to a much louder and blaring one. The voice was coming from a walkie talkie which he knew. Matt.. Maybe Matt wasn't so bad after all? I mean, he wasn't defending the affair AND maybe he was trying to poison Baguette man so this never even happened? He didn't know, but nevertheless he picked up the walkie talkie and started talking into it.
"Hello? Is anypony there?"
There is a loud silence for a moment.
. . ."Well.. Well..... Well. Look who we have here.. Banana man finally wants to speak to ME. I thought you despised me since I almost killed who you loved the most. But I could tell by that argument you guys had, it's sure that your opinion on him has changed..." The man heard from the walkie talkie chuckles, "Anyways, I know you are thinking that I'm some hero but no.. I planned to ruin your whole life! And so did my assistant."
As Banana man listened in shock, he heard the word "assistant." It made his whole body shiver. "So.. You mean there was also an accomplice..?" His words were a little shaky since he was still choked up about the breakup. "What did I EVER do to you or.. Or Baguette man." He almost started to cry his eyes out but only small, little tears could come out. He could never say that name again. It made his whole world shatter by saying that forbidden name.
"I don't have time for a full on discussion or an explanation, Banana man. I will have to talk to you in person for this. But before you say anything, unfortunately I am already meeting up with my little assistant you are so sad about." As Matt said that, Banana man could detect rain pouring down from the walkie talkie. He could detect that it wasn't the window, as the walkie talkie's rain sounded louder and more grainy.
"Um.. Where are you?"
"I told you we aren't meeting UP. I need to have a little chat with my assistant before I do anything else. I am disappointed in him, to be frank.. That's why I am having to talk with him in the first place. I'm going to have to leave soon because the rain is very bad in this area. I am NOT telling you where. Have a nice night-"
"NO- wait! Don't shut it off yet..."
"What the hell do you want? Are you that desperate? I- Hey boss, I'm here..." A voice in the distance was so sudden for the Banana man to hear.
"Hello? HELLO!" He yelled into the walkie talkie.
"..B..Banana man? Hey... What the hell are you doing here?!!" The banana man heard.. Baguette man's voice? As he tried to call out again the walkie talkie cut off. "No..." He slumped into one of the kitchen table's chairs. "I have to find them..."~ Meanwhile... ~
"B...Banana man?" Baguette man whimpered into the cold rainy night.
"Hey... What the hell are you doing here?!!" Matt exclaims, very frustrated and worried. He quickly turned off the walkie talkie.
"Damn it boss, He's just here because.. He just followed me, ok..?!" Apple man looked into Matt's eyes desperately, hoping he wouldn't be fired.
"And WHERE is your walkie talkie. Nevermind, I already know the answer. It is in Banana man's hands. WHY does he even HAVE IT?!" He yelled at Apple man angrily.
"I DON'T KNOW. OK?! DON'T ASK ME, BECAUSE TO BE HONEST, I REALLY DON'T KNOW." Apple man tried to stay calm but his tone and yelling really didn't help the situation. Deep down he really knew he accidentally left his walkie talkie in the Banana man's humble abode. Baguette man just stood there the whole time looking around and he took off his drenched chef hat and threw it onto the ground making a weird, wet, and plump noise which got everyone's attention. Apple man turned around and Matt stared down Baguette man with eagle eyes. Baguette man just looked down at his hat. It was drooping like it was also so very miserable, he thought. He remembered the time the Banana man confessed to him.Baguette man took his hat off and held it in his hands to fiddle with, since he was a little flustered.
But there was no time to reminisce on that now. It was over. And so was his feelings for Banana man he wanted to think, but it really wasn't that way. He wanted to keep the relationship together. He really did. But the problem, the problem was him. He was the one who was vulnerable to Apple man and Matt's plan, and that was what made him and his relationship with Banana man weak.~ Back at Banana man's home ~
By the time the Apple man and Baguette man entered Matt's home, the rain started to pour. So much so that it caught the Banana man's eyes, to which he moved and stood by the window, watching the rain while in despair. He watched the rain. He watched and watched as there was nothing else to do. The Banana man couldn't help but form tears as he watched. He was at his absolute worse. He's never felt this depressed before.. Well... Being this depressed actually used to be a daily routine of his. Back then... he had no friends, and everyone was scared of him. He was all alone.
..However, It all changed after he met the Baguette man. After the two became friends, Banana man completely forgot how being depressed and lonely felt. But now.. he's back to square one. All alone... Is this really how things were going to end? With the Banana man losing his first ever love... and friend, and going back to his sad and miserable life??"No... NO....!!" He yelled at the window, "I am NOT letting this happen.. I shouldn't have pushed him away..." He started to sob. "It's all my fault..." He held his head in his hands once again, and this time the book Joanna Banana wouldn't help him calm down. With nowhere else to go, he ran outside and layed in the rain. Even though the people walking across the street would find it weird, he really didn't care. Everyone in his past era was scared of him anyway.... He cried in the rain, soaking wet and muddy.
He finally got up and decided to find the meetup spot that his true love, Baguette man, was. He started to walk at a fast pace, then a few minutes later he was running. Running like his life depended on it. He tried to remind himself what sounds were playing in the background, anything.. He finally remembered one thing. A train passing by? Maybe he was misremembering, but he did know that there was a train stop nearby another neighborhood. And the first house was right next to the train tracks. Jackpot... He started running in that direction, desperately trying to get to Baguette man in time before anything happened. Now.. all he had to do was make sure he wasn't too late... He couldn't lose Baguette man!!
~ Meanwhile... ~
The Apple man notices the Baguette man, who was fiddling with his soaking wet hat. The Apple man couldn't help but get flustered by this act.. The Apple man thought to himself. "Damn it.. Why did he have to look so cute???" Matt noticed the Apple man and gave a disgusted look. "Okay what the hell..." Matt thought to himself. The Apple man cleared his throat and walked towards the Baguette man.
"Hey... Are you alright? You're drenched. Let me go fetch you some towels.." Said the Apple man. Matt interfered. "EXCUSE ME? Why are you offering him a damn towel?! Did you forget that he was our victim?!?" The Apple man ignored Matt.To see what finally closes this chapter, you will have to wait..
