It has been some time since Benito's grandmother passed away. Things were slowly getting better , he was back to working and taking care of things. Throughout this time he's noticed Becky has been different. She was currently packing her luggage as she would be going back to LA. He noticed she was packing her stuff with attitude. As if something was bothering her.
" mi amor , estás bien ?" He asked concerned.
" Why didn't you tell me about Emilia ?" Becky finally asked.
Benito sighed.
" I didn't want to relive in the past. I was broken and I wanted to forget her" He explained.
So much for forgetting her. Now she's everywhere.
" Do you still have feeling for her ?" She asked.
" No , yo te amo a ti." Benito said engulfing his girlfriend in a hug and placing a kiss on her lips.
Becky trust Benito , she didn't know Emilia but trusting her man was enough. After an hour Benito drove her to the airport in which she would be leaving.

Since then some time had passed. Emilia had seen Benito on occasions. Sometimes he was alone and at times he was with Becky. Whenever he wasn't with Becky it felt like the old times when they were best friends. Whenever they spoke Emilia couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same tension as she did between them. She desperately wondered what he thought of her.
Benito claim to have no feelings for Emilia but he thought she looked beautiful as ever. He could still get lost in those hazel eyes. Which is exactly why at times he kept his distance and became dry. Besides , he loves Becky , so he claims. Emilia couldn't erase any mental image she had of Benito. Every-time she saw him he looked better and better.
Today she was in the studio and she was presented the demo to a love song. Only a minute into the song she fell in love with it and wanted to record it. But the song felt off , almost as if it needed a feature. For now she was going to ignore it. She recorded only the chorus which was given.
Meanwhile, Benito was as well at a a studio working on some music and was presented the same demo. He instantly fell in love with it. He began to write and record the track to his liking. As much as he loved the song it did feel a little bit off. It felt as if something was missing but he didn't know what.
The next day Emilia went back to the studio and her producer had a surprise for her. He began to play what she had recorded yesterday and then suddenly a male voice appeared. But , it wasn't just any voice it was Benito's voice.
" You've got to convince him to do it together." He said to her.
Emilia grabbed her keys and told him she would do that right now. She loved the song and it was perfect. She got into her G-Wagon and made her way to Benito's house. She arrived shortly and rang the doorbell. Benito opened the door in his underwear. It appears that he had just woken up. He jumped as he wasn't expecting Emilia. She bit her lip and looked away briefly.
" Sorry I wasn't expecting anyone but , come in." He said inviting her in.
She walked in as he locked the door behind her. He then ran to get some type of clothing. He found a pair of pajama pants and threw them on staying shirtless. His perfect toned body in full view along with his tattoos. Emilia was getting jealous just thinking about how now Becky gets to enjoy all of that.
Benito motioned for Emilia to follow him into the kitchen where he was eating breakfast.
" dime , que paso ?" He asked as he continued to eat.
" La noche de anoche, we have to do it together." Emilia spoke.
" What do you mean ?" Benito asked confused as to how she knew about that song.
" We both recorded on the demo the same day. My producer played for me today your piece and it sounds so good. We have to finish it and do it together. Let me play it." She said pulling out her phone.
She played the bit that they both had recorded which got joined together. Benito couldn't deny it , he loved it. He agreed that they had to finish it and they had to do it now. Benito suddenly got up in a hurry leaving a little bit of his breakfast.
" adonde vas ?" Emilia asked confused with a laugh.
" to get dressed , we have to go to the studio." He said as he ran off making her laugh once more.
She waited for him to get dressed and then they left. The two getting into her G Wagon. Benito could not believe she drives now. The last time he saw her she still didn't know how to.
" oui tengo miedo." He said with a smile
" Que cabrón." She said rolling her eyes as he laughed.
She knew exactly why he said it.
