She looked so beautiful, Josephine Langford is the most beautiful bride ever. I would never have imagine that, after so many years, I'm here, at the wedding of my friend, my favorite actress, who brought one of my most passionate characters to life.

While Candice does the bride's hair, Jô's mother puts on the accessories, Adrielle fix her makeup, and I finish the dress. Jô chose a simple wedding, with a simple ceremony and simple party. As well the guests and the "beauty helpers", her movie friends, who she never lost contact with... It was perfect.

Jô is really old-school, she's 36 years old but her soul is that of a 50-year-old person, she likes simple things, she opted for a ceremony in a beautiful garden, and at the end of it there's a large hall decorated with lights and flowers, just the way she wanted something like footlose... JOSEPHINE

I couldn't stop crying, today is the happiest day of my life, and I haven't been able to stop crying, ever since I got into the uber to get ready for my wedding. Everything is so perfect, the party is beautiful, my dress, the guests, the food, everything.

"Are you Ready?"

My mom asks me, I smile at her and nod.

I hold my father's arm and walk towards the altar. I look at all the guests, my sister is crying a lot, my friends from Australia, who made a big effort to come to Los Angeles for the big day, my friends from Los Angeles, the girls who shared the house with me for so long... I see my movie colleagues, from Moxie, The Other Zoey and couldn't be without the After people. My family, I look to the other side, I see some M-Boys, Mercy and Martha, Hero's mother and sister, also wiping their faces with a cloth, and when I look ahead, I couldn't be happier.

My happiness was right there, tall, very tall, in a suit, my God how handsome he is, and with a smile from ear to ear, moving me in a way that only he has moved me since the beginning of everything... He waits for me with his arms and heart open, to live this new adventure with me.


HERO

She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Almost a painting, and my heart beats fast, she stops in front of me, her eyes and her skin shine, she looks at me, like we always did and I know that she loves me, because I love her too! We smile at each other, knowing that we will have this love forever.

And without realizing it, it's already time for me to say my vows.

There were so many years of hiding what we felt, hiding from all the madness of fame, hiding from possible disasters that could happen if the world knew we were together.

We went through a pandemic, through London, through Australia, Bulgaria... Since when we officially started dating, since when I put on that black ring and you this bracelet that we never took off... After farewell party from the After, I couldn't just say yes to what you asked me to do, it was obvious that I would beg us to try, even with the distance from Australia and London! And we tried, days, months and years, going back and forth, Australia, London, Los Angeles... Until you officially returned to Los Angeles, 5 years later, and I also decided to stay too. Australia and London will always be our homes... But as long as we're together, this will be our place, forever.

I love you! I will always love you, and I always knew it would work out in the end, after all, we are a movie couple, right."


Everyone applauds and Jô, who was already in tears, just like me and everyone in that garden, begins to say her vote:

I always followed you in all your achievements, I saw all your movies, and returning to Los Angeles was another act of courage, for both of us. A decision that took 5 years to happen, but just so you know, I would have done it much sooner! Just to be with you, but I know that to get here today, we needed to have lived through all of this.

The fact is, we've been living this dream for 10 years, not counting the time we filmed together... Just think that we met in a restaurant, two strangers from different parts of the world, 15 years later, 15 years in a long-distance relationship... Yeah Hero... It was meant to be! And it was worth every second.

I look at her perplexed, I start to cry like a baby, my heart won't hold it until the end of this day. I give a big smile, the guests react with claps, screams and tears.

And everything worked out in the end! We got married! Movie couple, right?

Without realizing it, we lived the same story as Hardin and Tessa, just a little differently, we had to deal with our strong genius, the distance, but love prevailed! And it always wins!



2 years later...



JOSEPHINE

Hero and I live together in a beautiful house in Los Angeles. We achieved this with all the movies we made, more him than me... In addition to being a great actor, Hero is now a renowned director. We have a beautiful little son, blonde with light eyes, who I'm sure will have a mixed accent, half American, London and Australian, it will be the cutest thing!

Hero stopped smoking, decided to run to exercise, because he was starting to gain weight... I follow him whenever I can in this healthy life, after all, mom here needs to take care of her beautiful body to accompany dad to film awards for which he is always nominated... And taking care of our health is always the best thing to do!

I never stopped acting... I just left the big projects... But I kept the advertising campaigns, smaller series, fashion shows, but my great passion was teaching. I started teaching theater in Australia and when I returned to Los Angeles I opened an arts school here, where I started teaching theater, then musical instruments, singing and today I'm very happy with what I do.

After our marriage became public, we received a lot more affection from After fans, I was afraid of what the fans and the media would do when they found out about us... I always had this fear, that a lot of people wanted to interfere in our lives... But we receive so much more love!

We are called for many interviews and especially when we are seen together, they stop us to find out how our lives are going. I'm still getting used to it, but I still manage to have a more normal life than all that craziness of my adolescence. We are very happy with our family, with our cats and dogs, our baby and our love!


3 years later...


On a beautiful summer day in Los Angeles, Hero and I received an offer from a film production company.

Dear Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford, we are inviting you to take part in a new After movie, now about Hardin and Tessa's children. We want you both to do them again. Would you agree?
