Despite everything I was going through in my artistic career, my personal life was going well... Taking a "break" from this rush of tests and promotions, and fame... It made me value my peace...

I go out a lot with my friends, especially Mia, who lives with me and is from Australia, as I always say, a little piece of home in this crazy Los Angeles. We walked through the streets, shouted, laughed and spent the most delightful hours together, eating ice cream and enjoying every moment. I go to some of my friends' birthday parties in LA, and I'm flattered to meet so many incredible people.

The girls who share the house with me took a while to get used to Hero's crazy things, like in the other day, but what can I say: A movie couple, right... After the day that he came into the house carrying me and taking me to my room, they never forgot what happened. He didn't even stay to long, he left the next day because he had some work to do and stayed at his advisor's house (where he always stays when he comes to Los Angeles).

But back to my friends:

"I met Josephine after that day!"

"I heard Jô's screams that day... I've never heard so many moans in one room!"

"Shut up! And could you pass me the jam, please?"

While we were having breakfast, I heard the greatest atrocities they could say...

"But seriously Jô, I've never seen so much passion in front of me... Distance really helps the couple a lot, right..."

"Yeah...  The distance is good because of that... You can live your life the way you want and when you meet again you have the best moments together... But living far away is also bad... When you want to be with your person but he is from other side of the world... Arguing from a distance is terrible...."

"Of course we fight! Or do you think it's okay to see your boyfriend going to parties and..."

OH MY GOD, my eyes widen and all my friends stop to stare at me, shocked!

Then I hear Hadley shouting:

I roll my eyes and cover my face with my friends' reactions... Yeah... I really asked for this. The next thing I know, everyone is standing around me, making a lot of noise in the kitchen.


After enduring my friends' screams all day, I'm finally in my room to rest and prepare for tomorrow. I talk to Hero via video call, it's been three days since we spoke:

"You can't even imagine what I was forced to deal with because of you!"

"The girls! They haven't stopped talking about the "event" in my room for days! They keep talking about our screams and noises..."

"Ah... I'm sorry Jô, I couldn't control it and..."

I hold myself after that, my heart jumped with joy seeing Hero's reaction, all smiling and wanting to call us boyfriend and girlfriend... I bite my lips and try not to smile too much so as not to show how much I'm loving this.

"Has anything like this ever leaked about us, baby?"

I hear screams behind Hero, Alex and Félix enter the screen, screaming and jumping with happiness.

"Hi Jô!!!! So now it's official!!! Are you guys dating?"

"Hey guys! No... I was just using us as an example to my friends and I used the B-word, but..."

I look at Hero and he just nods his head, I can't hold it in any longer... I nod my head too and another scream rings through the room, which makes me smile and melt inside even more.

I continued living the life I always wanted, for some reason, being without social media, without events, without awards, makes me happy. I still need to wear glasses or caps, but I've gotten used to it. We go to Universal, we go out to play bingo with drinks, just with the girls, we have a lot of fun, and I only know how to live life now as a normal girl would like, I enjoy every second, and Mia is still my faithful squire, the one who can handle my complaints, and misses, for my family and now: my boyfriend (oh my God I'm still not used to this).

Anna calls me for her son's birthday, Asher is the most beautiful child I know. We don't talk like we used to during filming, but we still have a strong connection. When we see each other, it's as if no time has passed and we're still the friends who never separated. We talked about After, movies, food, in fact, Anna drags me to shows, takes me to eat in random places... Anyway, the friendship that I love and will always have with me.

"Happy birthday, cutie!"

"Jô, can you draw a whale for me, please?"

Asher was turning 11, Anna threw him a party on the beach, I've never been so happy to be with these people I love so much.

Speaking of people I love, my parents told me the news about Australia, whether everyone was doing well, especially they and my sister, who, oddly enough, gave more news than the newspaper itself. I knew how Kat was doing and I was happy for her, with her work and fashion shows... My parents traveled for work as always, I'm very proud of what they do, taking care of so many needy families, traveling all over the world can't be easy, but I know they love what they do, so I feel happy for them.

"Let us know anything, Jô, we are rooting for you and will support you in every decision you choose! We are going to be without communication because we are arriving in a community that has no signal. We love you!"

Oh I miss them so much, but they love being doctors, they love helping families and I love them for that.

I'm rediscovering myself, I'm still taking some photos, I'm still taking care of my garden, and now I paint, I love painting things... Maybe it's my new job ... Some fans recognize me on the street, but they're really fans, because as much as I'm with costume, they know that is me, so they deserved to win a prize just for finding me!

"We miss you! Please come back to Instagram!"

"Is Everything fine? I hope you are very happy!"

They are cute... I try to treat them with great affection. Unfortunately, I'm shy, and I don't know how to deal with all this love very well, I don't seem to care but I really appreciate the care that people have for me, even though I don't know any of them.


When Hero returns to Los Angeles again for another job, this guy doesn't rest! He tells me that he has a super important fashion event to go to and that as soon as he leaves I should meet him at the hotel where he is staying. I do exactly what he asked me to do, and I even bring little surprises to him... I wear my best lingerie, a red one, and bring us the best champagne. Let's enjoy our dating days as the rules of... Dating... My God, I became the person I feared most! The girlfriend in love!

Hero had already given my name at the hotel, they simply gave me the room key and let me go up, my British knows what he wants... Well, I even took candles and petals, prepared the room, left the two glass goblets on the little table next to the bed, and when Hero opened the door, I was dressed to kill, lying on the bed ready to give all the love and affection that my boy deserved.

"My God, do you want to kill me GIRLFRIEND?"

He locks the door, and starts taking off all his clothes without blinking and without taking his eyes off me.

He jumps on the bed and kisses me passionately. When we take a breath he looks at me and I do the same.

"How long are we going to be saying the B and the G-word?"

He smiles, rolling his eyes...

" Hmmmm... I guess until we get married..." That chills my heart.

"Hero!" I give him a little push on the shoulder. "Don't even think about it, I'm already dizzy..."

"Calm down, I'm kidding!" He kisses me again. "We have all the TIME in the world to live each phase of our lives!"

I don't let him finish, Idon't want to talk about the future, or my career, I just want to make lovewith the love of my life until the day we can't anymore. That day we enjoy the entire hotel room.
