JOSEPHINE

We are still a secret, the most beautiful secret I have ever lived. Today is Hero's mother's wedding, and my heart is in my mouth. Her mother was married before, but has been separated for years, I'm happy that she met someone, and Hero says he likes the guy, I believe they will be very happy.

I arrived here in London a few days ago, I stayed at Martha's house, I was received with all the affection in the world by her, and by my boyfriend, today it's not so strange to call him that anymore, after all we've been living this movie romance for months... Movie couple, right...

Sleeping and waking up next to him was what I wanted most and I've been living in my dreams for days, I don't know how long this fairy tale will last, but I allowed myself to live it, and I'm enjoying every second. I know it's always easier to avoid it, it's easier to say no and just go my way, that was the decision I always made, but I decided to try, take the harder path this time. I really missed him, because one thing is missing him and not try anything with him, and another is to live intensely and miss...

The important thing about all of this is: I'm loving challenging myself, knowing how far we're going, living every second without worrying about the Josephine of the future, because I know I won't regret it... Maybe I would regret living a life without trying everything that. I'm trying to drink some of the cup of courage!

Now I'm here, in London, in front of a mirror in a fancy store, choosing the dress that I'll be wearing in church to see my mother-in-law get married, isn't it incredible?

"Did you like Jô?"

Hero was eagerly waiting outside the fitting room to help me choose the best dress. I open the cabin curtain:

"What do you think?"

He looks me up and down and keeps his lips open, without blinking, how I love him.

"You look... Spectacular!"

It really was, this dress was the most beautiful thing, a very light blue, almost white, with an open back and a beautiful design on the front.

"It's going to be this one then... Help me get it off, please?"

I turn my back to him, while he approaches him all silly to try to help me with something I didn't need, I only asked for help to provoke him. When he gets close to me, he realizes that he doesn't need to unbutton anything, just lower the dress. He smiles, holds my shoulders and leans down to my ears.

"You're lucky we're late for tea, otherwise I'd put you in the dressing room and wouldn't let you out of there if you weren't really wet."

"Oh my Go..." I look at him with a smile on my face and he smiles back. I enter the dressing room and take a deep breath to compose myself. Really, we're late for tea.

Martha would host a pre-wedding tea. The wedding is tomorrow afternoon, but today she invited the closest guests for afternoon tea... These Brits are so funny, I love them!

When we arrived at the afternoon tea, we held hands, I put on a light pink flowery dress, simple but flowing, Hero was wearing a basic dress shirt all open, very casual and a pair of sunglasses. He is so hot.

"You arrived!" Martha welcomes us with a smile on her face. "Did you find the dress, Jô?"

"Yes, I did! That place is incredible! It had everything I needed and it didn't take me long to find it!"

"Of course, a beauty like that, it's easy for something to look good on you!"

I look at Hero who makes me melt in seconds, he looks at me with the smile that I fell in love with and I realize that Martha has the same smile looking at us.
