Episode 2 - A Blazing Situation

'Toontown's day continues as it has been throughout the morning. Rosé Mei-Lin continues exploring the unfamiliar territory in the hopes of finding anyone that would be willing to aid her, in adapting to the civilization, and to try and cure her amnesia. As she does so, Mickey and his best pals were currently finishing up tidying up the rented warehouse and have delivered the go-kart back to Mickey's place. After they have done so, they had begun their travel to meet up with Minnie and Daisy in town.'

Mickey: -he texts Minnie to let her know that he and his friends are on the way-

Donald: -while they were on the way, he notices, while driving, that the truck is running low on gas- Uh-oh! Need some gas soon. -he warned-

Mickey: Maybe we can just nab us some lunch at a gas stop? -he asked-

Donald: Meh, why not? -he agrees to Mickey's suggestion-

'After a little bit, the trio pulled up to the boutique on the streets, as Minnie and Daisy were just coming out after their shopping.'

Minnie: Yoohoo! -she called out to the truck waving, approaching it with Daisy-

Daisy: -she gets into the truck with Minnie, sitting in the back seat with Minnie sitting between her and Mickey- We got the pictures you guys showed us. -she assured, as she looks at the said pictures taken at the warehouse, and then at Mickey's home- Very stylish.

Minnie: I hope your friend likes it too, Mickey. -she smiles, looking at him to her left-

Mickey: We're gonna surprise her when we take it to the go-kart contest this Sunday. -he said with an optimistic manner- Win or lose, she'll appreciate it either way.

Minnie: Teehee. -she giggled- Either way, it'll be fun to watch with you, Mickey.

Goofy: I sure can't wait as badly as you all. -he beamed-

Minnie: Sooooo what'll be for lunch then? -she asked curiously-

Mickey: Donald's truck is in need of a refueling, so we thought we'd just get an easy lunch. -he explained-

Donald: Good thing I know the one place for a pit stop. -he assures with a gesture of his index finger, then he notices the stop lights becoming red, and he stops before it-

Daisy: Well, I am on a diet right now, but I wouldn't mind a cheat day, hehe. -she chuckled-

Minnie: Why don't we head to my place afterward? -she asked- I was planning a movie night for us for once.

Mickey: I'd love that, Minnie. -he agrees, looking at Minnie with a warm smile-

'As the group were waiting for the light to turn green, in a nearby alleyway, it was just about nothing but trash bins, only a couple of vehicles parked there, and therein lays an old newspaper that had been sitting there for who knows how long. After a couple of moments, though, in between the newspaper and the ground, where there was some shade, 2 dark red eyes pop open. The eyes belonged to a tiny 'shadow' that wormed its way out of the newspaper, giving off a misty aura, as the size of it was no smaller than a mere fly. This 'wisp' was sensing something nearby. Like... Pure positive energy and kindness? It flew through the alleyway, hidden in some other shadows, it was like it was looking for something specific. The wisp then stops and notices the truck with Mickey and his friends. It uses a strange magic to 'scan' them. When its vision highlights Mickey and Minnie specifically as the 'pure positive energy' it thought it was searching for, its red eyes flash with a cold hiss. As soon as the light turned green, Donald drives off with the group, unaware... That the wisp gave a short chase before it sped up enough to where its size can't keep up, and it manages to sneak underneath the truck to hide for now. It gives off a whisper that says 'Mei-Lin...', and plots whatever it would be aiming to do.'
