When he realized he felt something for you

(Short- just thought it was a cute idea!)

When Levi Ackerman started noticing some weird fuzzy feeling in his stomach when he saw your smile, or when he would notice how dedicated you were to fulfilling his orders, he didn't welcome this newfound feeling.

It was weird to him, he never had this feeling before and was unsure how to go about it. When he heard your name behind his door, asking for entrance, he shuffled in his seat, quickly fixing his already neatly done hair, cleaning up the already clean desk, then finally granting you permission to enter.

When you came in, he found himself not being able to look directly at you. After so many years of training together and then being promoted into your respective squads, he never would've thought it would've been you he fell oh, so hard for.

When the seasons changed, he fell harder. His blushes became deeper, his stuttering increased, his eye contact with you was almost nonexistent- he even tried avoiding you!

Eventually, you guys would see each other and spend some time together, which eventually led to Levi wanting to sit next to you during mealtimes- but rarely being able to follow through. 

You both had gotten so comfortable with each other that you didn't even bother knocking on his door anymore. It caught him off guard at first, but he eventually got used to it and knew it was you since nobody else would dare to enter the captain's room without knocking first.

One day while Levi had been fixing himself up after a mission, you came into his room, unknowingly that he had been shirtless.

"Hey Le-" You stopped in your tracks when you saw the shirtless man in front of you, almost dropping the tea you had in your hands. "Oh." You stood there for half a second, admiring his lean yet muscular torso. Feeling the heat in your cheeks, you immediately turned and left the room with no words, embarrassed by the fact you just barged into Levi's room. And he was shirtless. 

You avoided him for a good amount of time after that incident, and after those 3 or 4 days of Levi having no appearance of you, he grew impatient as to where you were, and why you never gave him that damn tea in your hands. 

Levi would never confess his feelings, not unless you were about to be eaten by a Titan- which chances are incredibly low, since you're under his watch 98% of the time and you can very well fend for yourself.  

He would notice this fuzzy feeling even more when you ended up giving him the tea from your grandma's tea leaves from Wall Sina. You explained to him the origin of the tea leaves and where you got it from. While giving the teacup to him, your fingers brush along his as he delicately touched the teacup, bringing it onto the desk. 

He felt the heat of a shy blush creep upon his cheeks and in attempt to hide it, he hastily brought the teacup to his lips, savoring the richness of the tea- also while silently thanking the steam for hiding his features.  

The next time he noticed this fuzzy feeling was when you and him were watching the stars together. When either of you needed time alone or the silent comfort of one another, you both found your way up into the rooftop, silently enjoying the night breeze and stealing glances at each other every so often. 

He took a slight step back from the edge to admire the breeze kissing the strands of your hair, your eyes fluttering shut and the deep breath you took, wholeheartedly enjoying the moment. He felt the slight tug of his lips curling upwards- so small nobody would notice. He loved seeing your hair down, since it was always up in a ponytail. It reached down and rested right above your belly button, the waves of your hair evident as the humid air hugged the natural loose curls. 

He gulped. Seeing you in the night sky, the moon kissing your most prominent features- your nose, your cheeks, the twinkle in your eye when you kept the strong eye contact with the moon, your lips slightly parted yet glossy- made him realize this fuzzy feeling wasn't just 'fuzzy'. 

He was slowly, but surely, falling in love. Something he never thought he was worthy of.
