_________________" Good evening Syrenity " Dr. Lewis beamed looking at Syrenity who was sitting on the sofa in front of her desk. Anxiety spiral throughout her body as her legs bounced off the floor. This was the first session Syrenity had attended without the emotional support of Damiri's presence.
His presence next to her made her feel a sense of comfort. This morning He let her know that he was unable to come along with her due to some business he had to deal with, not telling her details Damiri dropped her off and kept going.
Placing her hand on her bouncy knee, Syrenity slightly rubbed Her soft Amdreādamo cream pants set. The knitted pants fitted her bottom half splendidly while the top was cropped and cuffing her breast. Her rosy brown skin was glossy and butter-causing an amazing smell to roll off her.
Some brown-toned heart-shaped Cartier glasses sat on her bare face, giving her a classy calm look. Syrenity glanced at Dr. Lewis who had gotten her notes out ready to start their session.
" How's your day going Ms Syrenity "
" It's been ok, I wish Miri was here " She spoke silently, voice almost above a whisper. Dr. Lewis nodded her head feeling a new emotion wave off Syrenity.
" Have you always been this clingy to him or did this recently become a thing?"
" I wouldn't say clingy, it's just being with him make me feel safe and secure. I know I shouldn't depend on him for comfort but I can't help it, he make me feel safe and special. He probably thinks I'm annoying " Syrenity ranted, toying with her tennis bracelet that he gifted her.
Every since she been back, her emotions seemed to depend on him. Syrenity wanted to be under him twenty four seven, he made her feel secure and comfortable especially after what happened to her.
She knew he would eventually grow tired of her ways or at least that what's she thought. Dr. Lewis wrote down her concerns about Syrenity before looking back up.
" He's your husband Syrenity, I'm certain he doesn't mind you leaning on him for emotional support. You have to let him be there for you because what you went through is very traumatic " Nodding her head, Syrenity dabbed her eyes feeling herself become emotional remembering her incident.
" Im tired of crying and being emotional, I just want to be done with all this. I'm literally in one of my dream places to travel and here I am sitting here being emotional " Syrenity expressed picking with her hands. The natural sun light touched her brown skin, the green plants smell surrounded the air as the slightly burning smell brushed against her nostrils.
Syrenity liked the natural aroma that the Maldives circled in, it gave her a sense of fresh energy and she loved it. Looking up at the ceiling, She let go a long sigh before moving her gaze at Dr. Lewis.
" Syrenity I have a task for you" Lewis said, digging in her desk.
" This is what I like to call the Journal release. Every time you feeling overwhelmed or anxious I want you to write something in this journal, every time you feel like you don't want to bother Mr. Black write in here. And I'm not saying pull your emotions away from him but when you feel like expressing your emotions just write them" Syrenity nodded grabbing the composition book from her.
