_____________________Humming to the soft music that played lowly, Syrenity cleaned up. Even though she had been staying there for months the house didn't feel like a home so she decided to break it in.
Lighting a vanilla sent candle, Syrenity bounced down on the couch as the door opened and closed. Turning her head towards the door Syrenity, looked at Damiri who was standing with two other men who had clearly just came from the gym.
" Hey sis," the one with a cap hat said loudly. Frowning at him Syrenity awkwardly waved at him and waved at the other one who simply gave her a nod.
" Ma, this Levoni and that's P., my fault for bringing them without giving you a heads up," Damiri said looking her up and down before leaning towards her, placing a kiss on her head.
"It's ok and it's nice meeting y'all " Syrenity eyes tried hiding the surprise. Yea they kissed before but not in front of people.
" Nigga why she doesn't know who I am, over there looking confused. I feel like a unwanted child " Levoni side-eyed Damiri before sitting on the couch.
" You only feel like that cus' yo mama didn't want you in real life" Holding back her laugh, Syrenity rubbed her hand down her face while looking over at P who tryna held in his laugh as well.
" You gone stop talking bout my mama " Levoni laughed
" If y'all hungry, there's extra sandwiches ion' know why I made so many " Syrenity said causing Levoni and P to jump up and run to the kitchen, pushing each other.
" Both you niggas move " Damiri uttered before pushing them. Laughing at their childish behavior Syrenity looked at Damiri who grabbed three sandwiches. This was the first time She had seen him not have this nonchalant attitude.
" Nigga you being greedy" Levoni snatched a sandwich out of his hands before eating it. Syrenity could tell they was something like best friends since Levoni wasn't scared of him like most people she had seen.
" Get out " shaking her head at Damiri who mugged Voni. " Ma, " hearing Damiri call out to her Syrenity looked over to him only to notice he was now standing behind the couch.
" Yo pops invited Us to this Sunday dinner tonight and said it imported" Rolling her eyes, Syrenity didn't know why he went and told Damiri after she already said no.
" I already said no, why does he think you gone make me change my mind " She said mumbling the last part.
" Why you don't wanna go," he asked lifting her head. Looking in his black-shade eyes Syrenity crossed her legs before biting her lips.
" Because he talkin' bout inviting my Auntie and her son and ion like them " Syrenity spoke softly still looking in his eyes. His hand wrapped around her neck as he peered into her eyes, Looking into each other eyes had become an everyday thing.
" Yoo, we finna head out, thanks for the food sis " Levoni's voice snapped them off each other. Smiling at Damiri's attitude, Syrenity's stomach started dancing. She was starting to like him hard but something was handling her back.
" How y'all gone go if I'm y'all ride" Damiri mugged Voni who rolled his eyes before picking up one of Damiri's car keys.
" Imma take yo car," he told him, throwing the Audi keys in the air and catching them.
