Chapter 12

After my long week break, I'm back to work, dad is back as vicious as ever and I am so excited to stand by his side one more time. Tomorrow I have a squash match on Rampage, today is a special two day event.

"Aria are you ready" dad yells from across the hall, I peek my head out and nod, "already I'll be downstairs," I close the door and turn to the bed where Nick is sitting, I sit down on the bed

"You're heading to the airport already"

"Dad, likes going early cuz of his fame, everyone goes up to him and we end up late" I explain,

"Damn I wish you could stay longer"

"I know I do too," I place a hand on the side of his neck and kiss him, when the door opens

"Aria," I release the kiss and look over to the door and Ruby's standing there and her eyes are wide, I put a finger to my lips, she walks in and closes the door "is that Nick Wayne"

"Promise not to tell dad" I ask holding out my pinky

"Promise" she hooks her finger with mine

"He is really important to me and we don't want dad to get mad" Ruby nods "so what is it that you need"

"Oh dad told me to tell you that we're running late," just then we hear the door slam open and mom is there out of breath

"Nick, closet, now" mom says, Nick's eyes go wide and he runs to my closet and closes the door and dad walks into the room

"Aria, we are running late, you know what happens when we go to the airport"

"Yes dad I know, I'll be down in a second," dad looks at me with annoyed eyes before walking out of the room before mom and Ruby walks out. "Nick you could come out"

"Your dad is scary" Nick says

"I know but Could you sneak out of the window" I say

"Yeah I'm going with William anyway" Nick says kissing me, I kiss him back and he walks over to the window and climbs down, I grab my suitcase and walk downstairs

I hug Lyric and Ruby "I'll be back soon" I say kissing them on the forehead before walking to mom and hugging her

"Be safe"
"I will." with that me and dad walks out to his car and we head to the airport.

WEDNESDAY!

I head to the venue and I hop onto my phone, twitter, and I tweet I'll be watching #CEO.

I grab my suitcase and head inside showing the security my badge and I head to my shared locker room with dad. "I'm tired" I say sitting on the couch and lean my head on dad's shoulder

"Ari, I told you to go to sleep early"

"I know" I couldn't tell him that I was up all night talking to Nick.

"So Tony told me that you are going to start feuding with Mercedes," I sit up and turn to him

"Yeah the CEO, I'm so ready"

"Well she will be in a fight of her life" dad says with a smile, I let out a chuckle

"Thanks dad, I'm gunna go talk to Uncle Will," I say as I get up dad nods and I walk out and head to the patriarchy and I walk in and see Nick sitting on the couch, I just smile and I walk over to him

"You look tired" Nick says wrapping an arm around me

"Cuz I am, you kept me awake all night" I say Nick lifts my head up and turns it towards him

"You could have stopped me" Nick smiles

I roll my eyes and turn my head as I see Will walking in "Aria you look tired"

"Why does everyone keep telling me that, I get it, this guy kept me up all night" I point to Nick, Uncle Will couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "I don't want to get ready" I say, Nick places me on his lap and I lean my head forward

"Sweety, you'll do great you are feuding with on of the best in the game Mercedes Mone"

"I know," I say kissing him before walking over to the door "i'll see you guys later" I walk out and head to my locker room, I grab my a grey oversized flannel, some ripped jeans and some boots, my top gear and my makeup bag before heading over to the restroom. I get changed and throw on my basic makeup before walking out and putting my makeup down

"You're going to do great" dad says, I nod before grabbing my title and I head upstairs and to a vacant sky box.

Mercedes music hits, I sit there as she talks and a camera pans to me, "we haven't seen our TBS champion since Revolution and looks like she has her sights on Mercedes Mone" Taz says, I stand there with my title above my head, Sky Blue and Julia Hart enter the scene, I just stand there with a smile. And I clap at their work with a nod but Willow and Kris come down. I walk out and head back downstairs and I find a merch stand,

"Hey I'm gonna need one of my dad's shirts"

"Oh my god it's Aria" I see a little kid pulling on their parents arm

"I'm sorry but can we have a photo" the parent asks

"Yeah just give me on sec here"

"Which size are you looking for" the manager asks

"A medium, please" they hand me a shirt and I walk over with the kids and take a photo. After I walk to my locker room.

Finally dad's chance to redeem himself, I throw on the t-shirt and some ripped jeans and air jordans and I walk out of the restroom "you can't come out with me" dad says

"Wait what do you mean"

"I don't want you to get hurt"

"Dad, that's stupid I'm not gunna get hurt, I can help you" I say upset, dad just shakes his head, I roll my eyes and we walk out of the locker room,

Dad's music hits and we walk out and run to opposite sides and we meet in the middle, I hug him before heading to the back. "Looks like Adam is going to do this alone" Excalibur says, looks like it I think.

Mother Wayne comes out and helps Chrisitian and like always every member of the patriarchy comes out and helps Christian but the tables are turned and Daniel and Matt come out and help dad, they handcuff Killswitch then Nick and then Christian, dad starts kicking Christian in the nuts before getting out of the ring and grabbing spike and he hit Christian in the nuts again before Bryce asks him again if he quits and he says no, dad raises Spike above his head when Christian screams "I quit" I jump with excitement and I sprint down to the ring and slid in before hugging dad tight,

"You did it" I smile, I raise his arm and I hug the boys Daniel and Matt, I'm so happy that dad has gold, dad flips off Killswitch, Nick and Christian, I walk over to Nick and lift up his head with my thumb and index finger, as I tell him that he did good and he's pretty but to the fans and everyone else it looks like im talking shit I walk over to Christian and lift his face up "my dad won, and you will never hold that title again" I yell before walking back to dad, I hug him and we continue to celebrate.

Dad sits on a crate and I stand by him popping champagne spraying it as I drink a bit and we have Top Flight, Daniel Garcia, Best Friends, Action Andretti, Matt Sydal around us, I walk over to Daniel and he grabs the bottle from my hand and wraps a hand around me and dad sprays the champagne and Daniel kissing me on the forehead and I grab the bottle and take another drink. We continue to celebrate when Nick comes by, I walk away and he follows, "I'm sorry Will lost"

"I don't care, I'm just happy you're happy" Nick smiles before kissing me, I stand on my tipys as I wrap my arms around him, he lifts me up and I wrap my legs around him.
