So there I was about half an hour later, walking through the dirt and occasionally hopping over branches. Scott decided that for our first bonding experience we were gonna take a walk through the woods.

"Okay I found it!" He said and showed me his phone. We both realized that we could not have a bonding experience if we didn't knew the first thing about each other. So Scott googled: 'what friends should know about other friends'.

"First question" He read out loud "What is your favorite color?"

"Blue" I answered and walked a bit closer to him so I would avoid walking through a puddle.

"Mine's blue too" He answered and handed me his phone. I read the next question.

"Do you have any siblings?" I read and laughed.

"Appearently" He answered. That kind of threw me off guard. A part of me expected our mom to tell him that he had a sister. While the other part realized that that's not something you just explain.

"What was your reaction when you found out?" I asked him. He shrugged and kicked a branch.

"Worried at first. Then later on exited" He said. "Did you have any siblings?"

I swallowed hard, trying to block out the images of my dead sister laying on the ground. "Yeah, I had a little sister" I pulled the photo of my old family out of my pocket and gave it to him. It was a nice photo, taken a few months before their passing. I took the photo so I wasn't on there. Just my sister and our parents .

"She looks nice" He said after a small silence and handed me the photo back. There was a tree blocking our way. I pulled myself over it and sat down. Scott eyed me weirdly and sat down next to me.

"Next question!" I said breaking the silence.

"Awkward childhood memory" He read out.

I thought about it for a second and started my story "When I was little I went to a Christian elementry school, only I didn't really get the Christian part because I didn't knew what it was. So I just figured that since Jesus is important, he must be the king of America" He started laughing "I got a three hour lecture on who Jesus was exactly"

It took him a few seconds to stop laughing. After that he told me a story about how he hit Stiles with his bike and that how their friendship began. Then we talked more about a lot of stuff and before we both realised it, it was getting darker and darker.

We were walking for about five minutes until I started to feel a bit uneasy, like something was gonna go horribly wrong. I shrugged it off and started walking a bit faster. I looked behind me  but saw nothing. I started walking faster.

"Everything alright?" He asked me. He pulled my arm and stopped me.

"I just have a bit of an uneasy feeling" I replied and started walking again.

"Like what?" He asked on a hushed tone.

"Like someone's watching us" I whispered back. He quickly looked around and also started walking faster again. So fast that I couldn't keep up with him. I looked behind me again and could swear that I saw a shadow of a man behind a tree. But instead of acting like any sane person, I decided that I would not look again I would just start running.

Scott easily ran next to me and after a while it even turned into a competition. He easily beat me. Which I would mind if I wasn't actually running from something. We entered a neighbourhood and I felt the feeling go away slowly. After a couple of minutes we reached our house. The lights were already on and there was a car standing outside.

I opened the door and heard voices coming from the kitchen. We both walked into it and saw our parents going over some paperwork, which I am guessing is about me.

"When I said bonding time I didn't meant totally disapearing for an entire day!" Our mom said. "why are you covered in dirt?"

"I fell out of a tree" I lied. Scott pushed me but I didn't think that was a smart thing to say right now. Our father laughed in a 'yeah right' kind of way but continued doing paperwork.

"Need help with your homework?" Scott asked me in a 'please say yes' kind of way.

"Yeah I do" I said not even lying. We both ran upstairs and laughed.

"I had fun" He said and hugged me. He let go after a few seconds probably realizing that I'll never hug back.

"What is it with hugs in this family?" I mumbled and walked back to my room.

Everything I said about Jesus in this chapter is a true story unfortunately
