Klaus and I cross the border of Mystic Falls. "I can't wait to see my brother." I comment.

"I'm sure you missed him terribly." I nod and he keeps driving. "Are you sure you're okay with this?"

"I'm alright, Ariana. It's okay," he says soothingly. I smile at him. "Damon told me that Elena's pregnant again."

"Those two just can't keep their hands off each other, can they?"

"I think not." He laughs and we pull up to the boarding house. I knock and Sam answers.

"What the hell?!?"

"Sam, it's okay. He's okay now." Klaus nods and he sighs. "Mom! Dad!" Damon and Elena come down from the stairs. "Ari!" Elena embraces me and I smile. I hug my brother and we step inside. "So, what's up?" I ask them. "Evie's starting to plan her wedding." My jaw drops.

"EVELYN ANNE SALVATORE!" In a flash she's downstairs. "What? Why-" She takes one look at Klaus and backs away. "What the hell are you doing here?"

"Evie-" She shakes her head. "He killed me and the people I love! I can't forget that just as easily as you did." I sigh. She storms upstairs and Elena sighs. "She needs time. She's only been back for 4 months."

"Isn't that enough?" I ask quietly. "No. Ricky means everything to her, when she saw him killed... Something snapped inside her. She hasn't been the same." Klaus shifts awkwardly.

"I'm just going to book us a room." He heads outside to the car. "I'm sorry. This is all my fault."

"It's okay. Don't worry." Elena reassures me.

"It's not. She wouldn't hate me so much if I hadn't helped Klaus."

"Well, when you sleep with the enemy-" Elena stomps on Damon's foot. "Honey, will you pretty please go start making dinner? I'm starved." He looks genuinely afraid as he walks into the kitchen. She turns to me. "I am so sorry. He has absolutely no tact."

"He never has." We sit down on the couch. "He shouldn't have said that. He was wrong."

"No, he's right. I am technically sleeping with the enemy."

"Ari, he was wrong. Love is love. I'm not the biggest fan of Klaus. But you see something different than what I do. It's the same thing like when he and I got together. Bonnie hated him. She thought I was crazy. She just didn't see what I saw." I nod.

"So. How's the baby?"

"Fine. We got an ultrasound today, and I'm about 18 weeks along. We got to tell the gender today."

"What is it?!?"

"A boy. We're naming him Caleb."

"Aww.... How cute!"

"Yeah. Evie and I got her wedding dress today. She's getting married in September."

"That's so close."

"I'm kind of freaked though, that's the month I'm supposed to be due."

"I'm sure everything'll go as planned."

"Me too. I hope. Knowing Damon's children, it won't be fun delivering."

"Hurtful!" I hear from the kitchen. I laugh and do does Elena. He leans on the doorway.

"I'm sorry Ari. I didn't mean it."

"It's okay." He heads back to the kitchen and I shake my head while smiling.
