"You're not going, Elena!"

"You can't stop me, Damon!" I sigh and she crosses her arms over her extremely swollen baby bump. "Elena, your water could break any day now."

"Yes, it could. And I think it would be better if you were with me so that my husband can take me to the damn hospital!"

"And if Klaus decides to take that moment of weakness and kill our son?"

"Arghh!!!" She screams. "Jesus, Damon! Caroline will be distracting him! And if you forget, Juliette will be there to protect me!"

"I'm not the kind of person to take that risk, you know that!"

"I don't care! This is our son, it's his life, and I'm his mother! Now, his Aunt is Klaus' compelled little bitch, and if you're alone, she WILL kill you!"

"If you're there, she'll kill us both!"

"Not if we stay out of sight! This is MY life Damon! My choice!"

"Do NOT say that to me. LAST TIME YOU SAID THAT, YOU WERE SACRIFICED ON A FREAKING ROCK!"

"I WAS HUMAN!" She takes a deep breath then turns around. "I am a vampire now! Damn it Damon, you don't need to be my bodyguard! I get it, you're worried about our son. But until he gets out of MY body, he is under MY protection, and there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!"

"The hell I can't!" She flips a table over, resulting in a loud crash. "THIS WAS MY PLAN!!! I'M GOING EVEN IF I HAVE TO SNAP YOUR NECK AND GO ALONE!!!" I sigh then I run my hand through my hair. "Fine. FINE!" She grabs her jacket and I get a vervain syringe. I go for her neck but she jerks around and grabs my wrist.

"Seriously? You were going to vervain me?"

"What are you going to do about it?" She breaks my wrist then in a flash she has me pinned on the floor. "That."

"Good. You're getting stronger."

"Don't patronize me, Damon." I flash us both up and I hold the vervain to her neck. She elbows me in the stomach then pins me back down with her knees. She snaps the syringe in half then throws it to the side. "There. Have I proved myself?"

"You're good."

"No duh." I help him up. "Are we good now?"

"Yes. Let's go." We head out to the Camaro, and Elena giggles a little. "What?"

"Caleb." I smile at her. She grabs my hand and places it on the baby bump, so I feel my son kicking. "I can't wait to see him."

"Neither can I." I kiss her passionately, my lips molding into hers. When we pull away, I rest my forehead on hers. "You know why I'm worried. Don't you?"

"Of course I do. But you need to know that I can take care of me, and our son. Trust me." I nod, then I sigh. "Elena, I can never loose you again."

"You won't. I promise."

"Good."

"You can't leave me either," she requests.

"Never. I promise." I kiss her again then we begin driving to the Grill.

Caroline's POV

I take a deep breath as I knock on the door. Klaus answers after a short delay, wearing a cocky smirk. "Miss Forbes. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Klaus... I need to talk to you." He nods then lets me in the house. "I don't love Tyler anymore." I take off my jacket, so I reveal the light blue dress exposing my cleavage a bit.
