26. Unexpected Love of My Professor

Y/N, a young and ambitious student, had been studying under the esteemed Professor Elizabeth Olsen for quite some time now. She was known for her brilliant mind and strict demeanor. Y/N, on the other hand, was a hardworking and dedicated individual who always strived for excellence in her academic pursuits.

As the semester progressed, Y/N couldn't help but notice that Professor Olsen seemed to be staring at her more often than usual. At first, she thought it might be because of her performance in class, but the intensity of those gazes made her feel uneasy. Y/N started to believe that the professor might harbor some sort of dislike or resentment towards her.

One day, after class, Y/N mustered the courage to confront Professor Olsen about her feelings. To her surprise, Elizabeth smiled warmly and reassured her that there was no animosity between them. In fact, the professor admitted to having strong feelings for Y/N, which took both of them by surprise.

"Professor Olsen, I've been feeling like you've been staring at me lately. I can't help but wonder if there's something I need to improve on in class." I tell her anxiously.

"Lizzie." She says and I look at her confused.

"Call me Lizzie when we're outside the school premises." She adds

"But we're in the school, in your office." I tell her.

"Call me Lizzie when it's just the two of us." She says and I nod in response.

"Y/N, I apologize if my gaze has been unsettling for you. The truth is, I've been admiring your dedication and intelligence in class. I'm genuinely impressed by your progress." She admits.

"Thank you, Professor. That means a lot to me. But why do you keep staring at me and just why?" I ask in confusion.

"Well, it's not just about your academic achievements. There's something about you that I find very captivating, and I can't quite put my finger on it." She tells me as she looks at me with an unexplainable look.

"I still can't shake off the feeling that you dislike me, Professor. I don't want our relationship to be awkward or uncomfortable." I inform her.

"Y/N, I promise you that I don't dislike you. In fact, I've been struggling with my feelings for quite some time now. I never thought I'd have these emotions towards a student, especially given the age gap and our shared gender." She replied and my brain stops braining for a while.

"Age gap and gender? Are you saying that you might be attracted to me romantically?" I say and yes I'm assuming. Delusional mostly.

"Yes, Y/N. I've been trying to ignore these feelings, but they've become too strong to suppress. I'm not sure if it's appropriate, but I can't deny my emotions any longer." She admits and that leaves me in a shocked state.

As the days went by, Y/N and Professor Olsen found themselves having more conversations about their feelings for each other. "I understand your concerns, Y/N. But I believe that love knows no boundaries, and we should at least give ourselves a chance to see where this leads us." She tells me and I think for a while before putting myself in a situation I'm going to regret or not.

As they continued to discuss their feelings, Y/N and Lizzie found themselves growing closer and more intimate with each other. One day, after another intense conversation about their love, Lizzie decided to take action.
