''Flying''

Lunch?

After her talk with Jared, Bella felt as if she was headed for the right decision. The rest of her morning was spent with Mackenzie and she is more than grateful that it is now lunch time and she can get away from the "problems" of the Ladies and Lords of Josh's Court.

Walking down the corridor, she's on her way to Alexis' room when she runs into Henry.

-"Bella."

-"Henry. How's your morning going?"

-"Well, lets see. I just came from another meeting with Josh and the terms to our new alliance are almost agreed on, if the Lords of the Private Council will only stop interrupting us."

-"Josh has mention on a number of occasions that sometimes he just wishes the Private Council would just shut up and allow him to rule the Kingdom without their constant meddling." - A chuckle leaves her lips.

-"I can certainly understand what he means. And where are you heading off?"

-"I was actually about to go get Alexis so we can have lunch together."

-"Well, perhaps you and Alexis would like to join me for lunch?"

-"I would love too, but I need to ask Alexis if she will be okay with that."

-"Of course, I understand. I will be having lunch by the lake and if Alexis agrees, I would love for you to join me." - He smiles wide at her.

-"I will ask her then and if she agrees, we will meet you there. If not, I will send word."

-"I'll be waiting."

Henry grabs her hand and kisses it, a smile never leaving his lips. Bella smiles back and excuses herself, making her way to her daughter's room.

Bella arrives at Alexis' room and knocks, being let in by Callie. She quickly greets the young woman before entering the room.

-"And how has your morning been?" - Bella smiles, seeing her daughter focused on a book.

-"Mother! I've been learning more about King Henry's Kingdom."

-"Speaking of King Henry... He has invited us to have lunch with him by the lake. Do you want to go?"

-"I would love too. It will be nice to talk to him outside of Balls and other official functions."

-"Very well, then. Go change so we can go."

Alexis nods and leaves quickly to get changed, leaving Bella thinking that maybe this lunch will be a good way for her to see how Henry deals with Alexis and vice-versa.

Bella can only wish that this lunch will go smoothly, since she is close to finally making a decision.
